Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan studi pendahuluan dan observasi yang dilakukan peneliti di TK Labschool UPI Bandung dimana terdapat siswa taman kanak-kanak yang belajar mengenal angka, warna dan bentuk. Hal yang menjadi daya tarik adalah kurangnya inisiatif guru untuk mencoba menggunakan media sebagai perantara peningkatan kecerdasan anak. Penelitian ini menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang telah dirumuskan, yaitu pengaruh model advance organizer melalui media televisi terhadap kecerdasan logis matematis siswa taman kanak-kanak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan perhitungan skor total tiap instrumen, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan, dapat diambil kesimpulan, bahwa dengan menggunakan model advance organizer melalui media televisi memberikan pengaruh terhadap kecerdasan logis matematis siswa pada aspek problem solving, aspek calculation process, aspek logical analysis dan aspek mathematical operation kecerdasan logis matematis siswa TK Labschool UPI Bandung. Berdasarkan pernyataan tersebut maka diberikan rekomendasi, yaitu menggunakan media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu alternatif metode pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan logis matematis siswa.;---The research was conducted based on preliminary study and observation by researchers at Labschool Kindergarten UPI Bandung where there are kindergarten students who learn to know the numbers, colors and shapes. The main attraction is the lack of teacher initiative to try to use the media as an intermediary for improving children's intelligence. This study answers the research problems that have been formulated, namely any influence of advanced organizer model through television media to logical mathematical intelligence of kindergarten students. This research uses quasi experimental method with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design Design research. The research instrument used in the form of test. Data analysis technique is done with calculation of total score of each instrument, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of research in the field, it can be concluded that by using advanced organizer model through television media give influence to mathematical logical intelligence of students on problem solving aspect, calculation process aspect, logical analysis aspect and mathematical aspects of mathematical logical intelligence of kindergarten students Labschool UPI Bandung . Based on these statements then given a recommendation, namely using instructional media to be an alternative method of learning with the aim to improve students' logical mathematical intelligence.
