Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA terpadu dengan tipe webbed yaitu tipe keterpaduan yang memadukan multi dimensi ilmu dalam satu tema untuk menggali pemecahan masalah siswa. Tema bahan ajar penelitian ini adalah Pelestarian Lereng Gunung Sindoro-Sumbing yang diintegrasikan dengan kearifan daerah setempat. Fenomena yang dikaji merupakan fenomena yang kontekstual dengan kehidupan siswa di daerah lereng Gunung Sindoro dan Gunung Sumbing di daerah Temanggung, Jawa Tengah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaituResearch & Development yang meliputi studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan, dan uji lapangan awal. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 16 siswa kelas VII dan uji coba skala luas melibatkan 61 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, angket untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan bahan ajar oleh ahli. Bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan selanjutnya diujicobakan dalam pembelajaran untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan bahan termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat dengan persentase sebesar 86,75%. Pemahaman siswa terhadap bahan ajar diperoleh persentase 81,12% termasuk dengan kategori tinggi. Hasil implementasi bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah secara signifikan dengan skor peningkatan (N-gain) sebesar 0,50 dan termasuk kategori sedang;--- This reseach was aimed to develop learning material of integrated science with webbed type thats integrates multi discipline knowledge in one theme to explore student problem solving skill. The tittle of this learning material package is Conservation of Sindoro Sumbing Slope Mountain which is integrated with local wisdom. Phenomenon in the learning package material is found contextually in students’ daily life at the slope mountain of Sindoro Sumbing, Temanggung. This research is a development of learning material that uses Research and Development design, they are preliminary studying, planning, developing, and preliminary field testing. The limited testing was conducted at one school by involving 16 students from seven grade and wide scale was conducted by involving 61 students at the same grade. Data collections are observation, documentation, and questionnaire distributionwas used by experts to judge the quality of learning material package. Learning material should be implementated on study to knew the problem solving skill of student with instrument of problem solving skill . Validation of learning package material is determined by the result of validation questionnaire, concept mastery level by using main idea in a paragraph. The result shows that learning package material is deserve to use with very strong level category, 86,75%. Understanding of learning material are 81.12% with high level category. The implementation learning material on study can increase the problem solving skill of student with significant number (N-gain) 0,50 and thats include on moderate categorized.
