Abstract
Penelitian ini di latar belakangi dengan masih rendahnyanya sikap demokratis siswa di sekolah, ditunjukkan dengan sedikitnya keberanian siswa dalam bertanya, mengungkapkan pendapat dan kurang dapat memecahkan masalah. Selain itu, guru PKn masih banyak menggunakan metode konvensional saat mengajar di kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang upaya guru PKn untuk meningkatkan sikap demokratis siswa dalam pembelajaran PKn melalui model pembelajaran group investigation, karena nilai-nilai sikap demokratis siswa merupakan salah satu tujuan PKn. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, angket, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran PKn dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran group investigation yaitu dengan menyiapkan RPP yang dibuat secara bersama oleh guru mitra dan peneliti 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PKn dengan menggunakan model group investigation dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus 3) Terdapat peningkatan sikap demokratis siswa dari siklus I, II, dan III 4) Kendala yang dialami adalah model pembelajaran group investigation membutuhkan waktu yang agak lama 5) Upaya yang dilakukan yaitu guru harus mengoptimalkan waktu yang diperlukan sebagai fasilitator pada proses pembelajaran.; This research is in the background with the background still rendahnyanya democratic attitude of students in school, at least the courage shown by the students in asking, express opinions and less able to solve the problem. In addition, the Civics teachers still use conventional methods while teaching in the classroom. The purpose of this study to obtain a clear picture of Civics teacher efforts to improve the democratic attitude of students in learning civics through learning model group investigation, because the values of the democratic attitude of students is one of the objectives of Civics. The method used in this research is a classroom action research. The instruments used were interviews, observations, questionnaires, field notes, and documentation. The findings in this study were 1) Planning learning civics by using model group investigation is to prepare a lesson plan created jointly by teachers partners and researchers 2) Implementation of learning civics with model group investigation conducted three cycles 3) There is a growing democratic attitudes students of the cycle I, II, and III 4) the problem faced is learning model group investigation takes slightly longer 5) the efforts that teachers have to optimize the time required as a facilitator in the learning process.
