Abstract
Penelitian ini mengungkapkan seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan inkuiri abduktif pada pembelajaran IPBA materi litosfer. Tujuannya adalah : (1) Menemukan gambaran peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa secara keseluruhan pada pembelajaran IPBA materi litosfer setelah diterapkan pendekatan inkuiri abduktif; (2) Memperoleh informasi mengenai peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa pada aspek C2, C3 dan C4 dalam pembelajaran IPBA materi litosfer setelah diterapkan pendekatan inkuiri abduktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan metode pre eksperimen untuk menggambarkan peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan inkuiri abduktif pada pembelajaran IPBA materi litosfer. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment: One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui pengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa setelah diterapkan pendekatan inkuiri abduktif, menggunakan perhitungan statistik uji-t dua pihak (paired sample t-test) dengan responden berjumlah 33 orang dari siswa kelas X disalah satu SMP Negeri di kabupaten Garut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa secara keseluruhan setelah diterapkan pendekatan pembelajaran inkuiri abduktif meningkat dengan nilai t hitung -41,455. Berdasarkan level ranah kognitifnya diperoleh aspek C2 memiliki peningkatan hasil belajar lebih tinggi dengan t hitung sebesar -9,83 jika dibandingkan dengan aspek C3 dengan t hitung sebesar -4,29 dan aspek kognitif C4 dengan t hitung sebesar -3,85. ---------- This study reveals how large an increase in cognitive learning result of students after application of abductive inquiry approach to learning the material IPBA lithosphere. The objectives are: (1) Find the description of the increasing overall students cognitive learning result of learning IPBA lithospheric subject matter after the applied approach abductive inquiry; (2) Obtaining information on the cognitive learning results of students on aspects of C2, C3 and C4 in learning IPBA lithospheric subject matter after the applied approach abductive inquiry. This research uses experimental approach with pre experimental method to describe the increase in cognitive learning result of students after application of abductive inquiry approach to learning the IPBA lithosphere subject matter. The design study is Quasi-Experiment: One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. Furthermore, to determine the effect of an increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students after the applied approach abductive inquiry, using a t-test statistical calculation of the two parties (paired two sample t-test for means) with the respondent amounted to 33 students from the one of the 8th grade class in one junior high school in Garut district. The results showed that cognitive learning result of students as a whole after the applied approach abductive inquiry learning increases with t value -41.455. Based on the level of cognitive domains obtained aspect of C2 has a higher learning result with the t of -9.83 compared with C3 aspect with t count equal to -4.29 and cognitive aspects C4 with t of -3.85.
