Abstract
Penelitian ini berusaha menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang bertitik tolak dari rumusan masalah umum yaitu: bagaimana hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di STAI Siliwangi Bandung. Secara lebih khusus, masalah penelitian dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa tentang penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo pada mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di STAI Siliwangi Bandung. (2) Bagaimana motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di STAI Siliwangi Bandung. (3) Apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di STAI Siliwangi Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester dua jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi yang berjumlah 32 orang dan menggunakan instrumen angket sebagai alat pengumpul data penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Spearman’s Rank Correlation untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat hubungan kedua variabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di STAI Siliwangi Bandung. Secara khusus dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Mahasiswa memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo pada proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. (2) Mahasiswa memiliki motivasi yang kuat terhadap proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan berada pada tingkat keeratan korelasi yang sedang. This research try to find out the answers of the research questions: How the correlation between students’ perception toward the using of the application and students’ learning motivation on Information and Communication Technology major at STAI Siliwangi Bandung. In more detail, the research questions defined as follow: 1) How students perceive about the use of Edmodo on Information and Communication Technolgy major at STAI Siliwangi Bandung? 2) How strong the students’ learning motivation on Information and Communication Technology major at STAI Siliwangi Bandung is? 3) Is there any positive and siginificant correlation between students’ perception toward the use of Edmodo and students’ motivation on Information and Communication Technology major at STAI Siliwangi Bandung. The research method used in this research is correlational descriptive method. The research subject is 32 second semester students of Islamic Education Department who have followed Information and Communication Technology major and use questionaire as the instrument. The data analyzed with Spearman’s Rank Correlation to find out how the degree of the correlation of two variables. Based on the result of the research, generally it can be concluded that there is a positive and significance correlation between the students’ perception toward the use of Edmodo application and students’ learning motivation on Information and Communication Technology at STAI Siliwangi Bandung. Specificly, it can be concluded as follow: 1) Students have positive perceptions toward the use of Edmodo on Information and Communication Tecnology major. 2) Students have high and strong motivation toward the teaching and learning process of Information and Communication Technology major. 3) There is a positive and significant correlation between students perception toward the use of Edmodo and students’ learning motivation, and the degree of the correlation is in medium level.
