Abstract
Citra perempuan seringkali diposisikan sebagai objek dengan pola stereotip yang menggambarkan mereka sebagai makhluk lembut, cantik, dan keibuan, sementara laki-laki dianggap sebagai sosok yang kuat dan rasional. Pandangan ini berasal dari konsep genre yang dibentuk melalui faktor sosial dan budaya. Penggunaan citra perempuan dalam karya sastra, terutama novel, memiliki potensi untuk menjadi bahan pembelajaran yang menarik, khususnya dalam pengajaran apresiasi sastra. Adapun masalah yang akan dikaji adalah untuk mengetahui struktur novel Wedding Agreement karya Mia Chuz, mengetahui wujud citra perempuan dalam novel Wedding Agreement karya Mia Chuz dan untuk merancangan bahan ajar yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran apresiasi sastra dari novel Wedding Agreement karya Mia Chuz. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Menganalisis struktur novel menggunakan Teori Stanton, menganalisis citra perempuan dalam novel dengan Teori Sugihastuti, menginterpretasi hasil analisis untuk merancang bahan ajar berupa buku pengayaan, serta menarik kesimpulan dari seluruh penelitian. Citra perempuan dalam novel mengungkap aspek fisik, psikis, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Cantik, kulit berwana kuning langsat, penyabar dan pekerja keras merupakan citra diri aspek fisik dan psikis. Citra perempuan dalam aspek keluarga menggambarkan Tari sebagai istri tabah dan kakak yang penyayang. Dalam masyarakat, Tari dikenal sebagai sosok yang dermawan dan aktif dalam kegiatan positif seperti pengajian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, dirancanglah bahan ajar berbentuk buku pengayaan yang mencakup pengenalan novel, struktur pembangun novel, dan citra perempuan. Buku ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran apresiasi sastra di tingkat SMA dan dapat juga dibaca oleh masyarakat umum. Citra tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bahan ajar sastra di sekolah. : The image of women is often positioned as an object with stereotyped patterns depicting them as gentle, beautiful and motherly beings, while men are seen as strong and rational. This view comes from the concept of genre which is formed through social and cultural factors. The use of female images in literary works, especially novels, has the potential to be an interesting learning material, especially in teaching literary appreciation. The problems to be studied are to find out the structure of Mia Chuz's novel Marriage Agreement, to find out the image of women in Mia Chuz's Marriage Agreement novel and to design teaching materials that can support learning of literary appreciation from Mia Chuz's Marriage Agreement novel. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. This research uses library study and documentation techniques. Analyzing the structure of the novel using Stanton's theory, analyzing the image of women in the novel using Sugihastuti's theory, interpreting the results to design an analysis of teaching materials in the form of enrichment books, and drawing conclusions from all research. The image of women in the novel reveals physical, psychological, family and community aspects. Beautiful, olive skin, patient and hardworking are the physical and psychological aspects of self-image. The image of women in the family aspect depicts Tari as a steadfast wife and loving older sister. In society, Tari is known as a generous person and is active in positive activities such as recitation. Based on the results of this analysis, an open material in the form of an enrichment book was designed which includes an introduction to the novel, the building structure of the novel, and the image of women. This book can be used in learning literary appreciation at the high school level and can also be read by the general public. This image can be utilized in open literary materials in schools.
