Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran STEM Quartet pada materi pencemaran lingkungan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) siswa SMA. Analisis peningkatan keterampilan CPS pada penelitian ini ditinjau dari dimensi sosial dan dimensi kognitif berdasarkan tindakan dan ucapan yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mix methods. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil lembar observasi tindakan siswa serta transkrip pembelajaran berupa percakapan siswa di dalam kelompok. Peningkatan keterampilan CPS dilihat secara keseluruhan kelompok atau penilaian kelompok. Hasil penilaian keterampilan CPS pada dimensi kognitif melalui lembar observasi untuk indikator exploring and understanding menunjukkan tiga keadaan yaitu peningkatan, konstan dan penurunan, executing menunjukkan dua keadaan yaitu konstan dan penurunan, sedangkan indikator monitoring menunjukkan tiga keadaan yaitu peningkatan, konstan dan penurunan. Adapun untuk hasil keterampilan CPS pada dimensi sosial dan kognitif melalui percakapan yang diamati pada indikator maintaining communication mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,9% dan 2,8%, sharing information mengalami penurunan sebesar 2,5%, dan 8,2%, establishing shared understanding mengalami penurunan 4,3% kemudian meningkat sebesar 0,2%, negotiating mengalami penurunan 0,17% kemudian meningkat 1,31%, representing and formulating mengalami penurunan 2,08% dan pada pertemuan terakhir tidak ada kemunculan, planning mengalami peningkatan 12,05% kemudian menurun 11,05%, executing mengalami penurunan sebanyak 9,24% kemudian mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 12,34%, monitoring mengalami penurunan sebanyak 3,69% kemudian mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 3,19%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kondisi yang terjadi terhadap keterampilan CPS setelah dilaksanakan pebelajaran STEM Quartet. This study aims to analyze the application of STEM Quartet learning to environmental pollution material to improve Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) skills for high school students. The analysis of improving CPS skills in this study was reviewed from the social and cognitive dimensions based on the actions and speech made by students. The method used in this study is a mixed method. Data collection was obtained from the results of student action observation sheets and learning transcripts in the form of student conversations in groups. The increase in CPS skills is seen as a whole group or student assessment group. The results of assessing CPS skills on the cognitive dimension through observation sheets for the explore and understanding indicator show three states, namely increasing, constant and decreasing, execution showing two states, namely constant and decreasing, while the monitoring indicator shows three states, namely increasing, constant and decreasing. As for the results of CPS skills on the social and cognitive dimensions through conversations observed in the indicators of maintaining communication increased by 9.9% and 2.8%, sharing information decreased by 2.5% and 8.2%, building mutual understanding experienced a decrease of 4.3% then increased by 0.2%, negotiations decreased by 0.17% then increased by 1.31%, represented and formulated a decrease of 2.08% and at the last meeting there were no events, planning increased by 12.05% then decreased by 11.05%, decreased by 9.24% then increased by 12.34%, monitoring decreased by 3.69% then increased by 3.19%. These results indicate that there are several conditions that happen in CPS skills after implementing STEM Quartet learning.
