Abstract
Pada anak kembar sekalipun persaingan atau konflik merupakan hal yang wajar. Apabila persaingan yang ditimbulkan serius perlunya perhatian lebih dari orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku persaingan yang terjadi pada anak kembar identik, faktor penyebab persaingan itu terjadi serta perlakuan orang tua terhadap anak kembar identik di KB/TK Al Biruni Aria Graha Kab. Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskripstif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan obsevasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sepasang anak kembar identik laki-laki , 2 orang guru kelas serta orang tua anak kembar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku persaingan yang ditimbulkan anak kembar hanya perdebatan yang tidak terlalu serius atau beradu argument, cemburu karena saudara kembar dekat dengan orang ketiga (kakak), marah ketika saudara kembar memakai barang miliknya, dan saling berebut mainan. Sedangkan perilaku persaingan fisik yaitu memukul saudara kembar. Faktor penyebab dari terjadinya persaingan saudara kembar lebih fokus terhadap faktor internal. Orang tua sangat memiliki andil besar sebagai faktor utama penyebab terjadinya persaingan saudara kembar. Perlakuan orang tua akan mempengaruhi persaingan yang terjadi pada anak kembar, sebagai orang tua sangat penting untuk bersikap adil pada anak dengan menerapkan pola asuh yang tepat seperti pola asuh demokratis. ------ Even in Twins, competition or conflict is normal. If the competition caused is serious, it needs more attention from parents. This study aims to determine the competitive behavior that occurs in identical twins, the factors that cause the competition to occur and the treatment of parents towards identical twins in KB/TK Al Biruni Aria Graha Kab. Bandung. This research is a case study research type with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were a pair of male identical twins, 2 class teachers and the parents of the twins. The results showed that the competitive behavior caused by twins was only arguing that wasn’t too serious or arguing, jealous because the twins were close to a third person (brother), angry when the twins used their belongings, and fought over toys. While the behavior of physical competition is hitting twins. The factors causing the rivalry of twins are more focused on internal factors. Parents really have a big role as the main factors causing the rivalry of twins. The treatment of parents will affect the competition that occurs in twins, as parents it is very important to be fair to children by applying appropriate parenting patterns such as democratic parenting.
