Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan kepada pentingnya peran media pembelajaran sebagai sarana penunjang dalam proses pembelajaran agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Maka, media video animasi bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk dijadikan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk video animasi pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis desain penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian D&D (Design and Development) dan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling yang mengambil sampel dengan jumlah 10 orang siswa kelas IV SD. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video telah memenuhi kelayakan dengan perolehan skor uji validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori ‘sangat layak’, ahli media sebesar 86,67% dengan kategori ‘sangat layak’, dan ahli bahasa sebesar 100% dengan kategori ‘sangat layak’. Pada uji coba di sekolah dasar, media video animasi ini mendapatkan perolehan skor 94% dari guru dengan kategori ‘sangat layak’, 92,4% dari siswa dengan kategori ‘sangat layak’, dan hasil tes keterbacaan oleh siswa sebesar 93%. Media pembelajaran video animasi sifat-sifat cahaya ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya baik bagi guru maupun siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar karena dinilai dapat menarik minat dan perhatian peserta dengan tampilan yang menampilkan karakter animasi yang menarik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video animasi pembelajaran ini layak untuk digunakan di sekolah dasar. ------- This research is based on the importance of the role of learning media as a means of supporting the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved. Therefore, animated video media can be an alternative to using as learning media. The purpose of this study to design and develop learning media in the form of animated videos in the fourth grade of elementary school. This study uses a type of development research design using the D&D (Design and Development) research method and the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The sampling technique that was used in this study is purposive sampling which took a sample of 10 students in the fourth grade of elementary school. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative. The results of the validation had met the feasibility by obtaining a validation test score by material experts of 87.5% in the 'very feasible' category, media experts 86.67% in the 'very feasible' category, and language experts 100% with 'very feasible category. In the trial in elementary schools, this animated video media got a score of 94% from teachers in the 'very decent' category, 92.4% from students in the 'very decent' category, and 93% of students' readability test results. This animated video learning media of the properties of light can be used as an alternative learning media on the material properties of light for both teachers and grade IV elementary school students because it is considered to be able to attract the interest and attention of participants with a display that displays attractive animated characters. So, the conclusion is that this learning animation video media is suitable for use in elementary schools.
