Abstract
Penlitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sejarah siswa pada materi Proklamasi Kemerdekaan. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan hasil tanya jawab bersama siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut diakbiatkan oleh pembelajaran yang cenderung satu arah serta strategi dan model yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran tidak bermakna bagi siswa sehingga siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Cibeuneur. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V dengan jumlah siswa 15 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran role playing serta bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sejarah siswa pada materi Proklamasi Kemerdekaan di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 Siklus 4 tindakan atau 4 pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar observasi guru, pre-test dan post-test , dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwasannya penggunaan model pembelajaran role playing dengan materi peristiwa proklamasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sejarah siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran role playing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sejarah siswa pada materi proklamasi kemerdekaan kelas lima SDN Cibeuneur. ----- This research is motivated by the low historical literacy skills of students on the material of the Proclamation of Independence. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test and the results of questions and answers with students during the learning process. This is caused by learning that tends to be one-way and the strategies and models used by teachers in learning are not meaningful for students so that students have difficulty understanding the material presented. This research was conducted at SDN Cibeuneur. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students with 15 students. This study aims to determine the application of the role playing learning model and aims to improve students' historical literacy skills on the material for the Proclamation of Independence in Elementary Schools. This research is a Classroom Action Research model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. This research was carried out in 2 cycles of 4 actions or 4 lessons. The instruments used in the study were teacher observation sheets, pre-test and post-test, and documentation. The results obtained in this study are known that the use of role playing learning models with the material of the proclamation of events can improve students' historical literacy skills. Thus, it can be concluded that the role playing learning model can improve students' historical literacy skills in the material for the proclamation of independence for the fifth grade at SDN Cibeuneur.
