Abstract

Perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini sangat berperan penting pada perkembangan kognitif dan sosialnya terutama kemampuan menyimak. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita melalui media buku cerita bergambar pada anak kelompk B TK BPK PENABUR Guntur. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis & Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B TK BPK PENABUR Guntur dengan jumlah siswa 19 anak. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Keterampilan menyimak cerita pada anak kelompok B TK BPK PENABUR Guntur tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dapat ditingkatkan melalui media buku cerita bergambar. Anak dikondisikan di dalam kelas untuk siap mengikuti pembelajaran menyimak cerita. Kemudian guru memberikan pendahuluan berupa gambaran isi cerita yang akan diceritakan. Anak menyimak cerita yang disampaikan. Saat guru bercerita, sesekali guru menghentikan cerita dan bertanya tentang kelanjutan cerita yang akan terjadi. Setelah selesai membacakan cerita dilakukan tanya jawab dan menyampaikan pendapat tentang cerita yang baru didengar. Hal ini sudah terbukti bahwa angka ketuntasan yang diperoleh yaitu pada kriteria ≥BSH mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Pada pra siklus angka ketuntasan menyimak cerita ada 28% (tidak berkembang) kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 31.5% (mulai berkembang). Pada siklus II angka ketuntasan menyimak cerita meningkat mencapai 52.7% (berkembang cukup baik) dan pada siklus III mencapai 80.7% (berkembang sangat baik) ----- The development of early childhood language plays an important role in cognitive and social development, especially the ability to listen. Therefore the study is conducted to improve the skills of listening to the story through a picture story book media on children kelompk B TK BPK PENABUR Guntur. The design of this research using Classroom Action Research type (PTK) with Kemmis & Taggart model. The subject of this research is the children of group TK BPK PENABUR Guntur with the number of students 19 children. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Listening skill of story to child of group B TK BPK PENABUR Thunder of academic year 2017/2018 can be enhanced through picture story book media. Children are conditioned in the classroom to be ready to follow the learning of listening. Then the teacher gives a preliminary picture of the contents of the story to be told. Children listening to the story delivered. When the teacher tells the story, occasionally the teacher stops the story and asks about the continuation of the story that will happen. After you finish reading the story, do the question and answer and give an opinion about the newly heard story. It has been proved that the number of completeness obtained on the criteria ≥BSH has increased each cycle. At the pre-cycle of thoroughness figures listened to the story there is 28% (not developed) then increased in the cycle I to 31.5% (started developing). In the second cycle, the total number of listening to the story increased to 52.7% (developed quite well) and in the third cycle reached 80.7% (developed very well)
