Abstract
Kedudukan keluarga sangatlah berarti dalam perkembangan sosial emosional kanak-kanak. Namun, banyak orangtua yang secara tidak sadar menerapkan gaya asuh yang cocok dengan keinginan mereka serta mengesampingkan perkembangan sosial emosional anaknya. Hingga saat ini, masih banyak anak yang belum berkembang sesuai harapan, semacam masih terdapat anak yang belum dapat membiasakan dirinya dengan suasana dikala bermain, belum dapat menguasai perasaan teman dan merespon secara normal. Riset ini bertujuan, guna mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini di TK PGRI Cibeureum. Pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dipergunakan dalam riset ini. Hasil riset memperlihatkan, mayoritas orang tua (Ayah serta Ibu) di TK PGRI Cibeureum menerapkan pola asuh demokratis, dengan perkembangan sosial- emosional anak di TK PGRI Cibeureum sebagian besar terletak dalam kategori cukup (mulai berkembang) sebanyak 15 orang (41%), serta terdapatnya pengaruh yang positif dan pula signifikan diantara pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan sosial- emosional anak usia dini. Disimpulkan, terdapat pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan sosial-emosional anak usia dini di TK PGRI Cibeureum. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh; Perkembangan Sosial-Emosional; Anak Usia Dini ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF PARENTING PATTERNS ON EARLY CHILDHOOD SOCIO-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AT PGRI CIBEUREUM KINDERGARTEN The position of the family is very important in the social emotional development of children. However, many parents unconsciously adopt a parenting style that suits their desires and neglect their child's social emotional development. Until now, there are still many children who have not developed as expected, such as there are still children who have not been able to get used to the atmosphere when playing, have not been able to master the feelings of friends and respond normally. This research aims to determine the effect of parenting on the socio-emotional development of early childhood at PGRI Cibeureum Kindergarten. Descriptive quantitative approach is used in this research. The results of the research show that the majority of parents (fathers and mothers) in PGRI Cibeureum TK apply democratic parenting, with the socio-emotional development of children in PGRI Cibeureum TK mostly in the moderate category (starting to develop) as many as 15 people (41%), and there is a positive and significant influence between parenting patterns on the socio-emotional development of early childhood. In conclusion, there is an influence of parenting style on the socio-emotional development of early childhood in PGRI Cibeureum Kindergarten.
