Abstract

Remedial teaching merupakan salah satu bentuk perbaikan untuk membantu peserta didik mencapai target Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dan penguasaan kompetensi. Kurangnya strategi, pengembangan materi, dan media dapat menghambat target pengajaran yang sudah ditentukan merupakan latar belakang penelitian ini. Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) yang diterapkan dalam bentuk website bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model Siklus Hidup Menyeluruh (SHM) dengan melibatkan peserta didik XI RPL di SMKN 7 Baleendah sebagai sampel. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui penelitian ini adalah: (1) website ITS dapat meningkat prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan perolehan rata-rata nilai gain sebesar 0,67 dan masuk ke dalam kategori efektivitas “sedang”; (2) penilaian ahli menyatakan bahwa website ITS dalam remedial teaching sudah “sangat layak” dengan skor penilaian 4,5; dan (3) penilaian peserta didik menyatakan bahwa website ITS dalam remedial teaching sudah diterima dengan “akseptansi tinggi” dengan skor penilaian 4,11. Remedial teaching is one form of improvement method to help students achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria targets and mastery of competencies. Lack of strategies, development of materials, and media can hinder the teaching targets that have been determined is the background of this research. The Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) which is implemented in the form of a website aims to improve student learning achievement in Object-Oriented Programming subjects. The research model used is the Complete Life Cycle model involving XI RPL students at SMKN 7 Baleendah as samples. The results obtained through this research are: (1) the ITS website can increase student learning achievement with an average gain of 0,67 and categorized as "medium”; (2) the expert's assessment stated that the ITS website in remedial teaching was "very proper" with the assessment score of 4,5; and (3) student assessments stated that the ITS website in remedial teaching was accepted with criteria "acceptancy good" with the assessment score of 4,11.
