    Abstract

    This research is a research on the development of Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) based on a contextual approach to distance learning aimed at improving mathematics learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students. This research was motivated by students who obtained mathematics learning outcomes less than the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) during distance learning. This is due to monotonous learning and the limitations of the infrastructure owned by students. Therefore we need a learning innovation to improve student learning outcomes. The author chose the development of LKPD as one of the teacher's efforts in improving student learning outcomes. One of the benefits of LKPD is to make students active and independent in the implementation of learning activities, so that it is expected to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type of approach used in the development of LKPD is a contextual approach. The contextual approach is a learning approach that helps students relate the material being studied to real world situations, so that learning becomes more meaningful. The purpose of this study was to determine the design and feasibility of LKPD based on a contextual approach to distance learning to improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade IV Elementary School. This study uses the Delphi method with a qualitative approach. The LKPD design that is focused on in this research is the concept of a flat square shape along with the concept of circumference and area. The results showed that the LKPD design based on a contextual approach was very feasible to use in improving mathematics learning outcomes for 4th grade elementary school students.
