Abstract

Kata Kunci: keterampilan 4C abad ke-21, inkuiri, project based learning, reading infusion ABSTRACT 21ST CENTURY 4C SKILLS PROFILE OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN INQUIRY PROJECT BASED LEARNING WITH READING INFUSION STRATEGY ON ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT Fitri Anifatussaadah 1707389 The 21st century need student to master not only thinking and scientific skills, but also need higher level skill. Four important specificc skills are often referred to as 21st century 4C skills (critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity and innovation). Hence, this research was aimed to explore the students’ profile toward 21st century 4C skills among junior high school students in Inquiry Project Based Learning with Reading Infusion strategy on electrical circuits. This research used descriptive method, which is using 102 students grade 9 junior high school as a sample was taken by Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrumen used was a 21st century 4C skills rubrik which was adapted from the Buck Institute of Education (BIE). The result showed that all of the students’ 21st century 4C skills were almost partially in the category approaching standard after the Inquiry Project Based Learning with Reading Infusion strategy on electrical circuit was applied. The category approaching standard on each skill with the percentage of critical thinking skill 41.9%; collaboration skill 34.3%; communication skill 38,2%; and innovative creative skill 48,8%.
