Abstract
Implementasi platform pembelajaran yang menyediakan fitur sebagai alat evaluasi digital sangat dibutuhkan di situasi seperti sekarang, salah satunya platform nearpod yang menyediakan fitur evaluasi hasil belajar digital namun dapat memberi kesenangan terhadap siswa. Umumnya, guru masih melakukan evaluasi secara konvensional menggunakan lembaran kertas. Padahal dengan menerapkan evaluasi digital, guru akan memperoleh banyak kemudahan dalam pelaksanaannya. Tim MKDP Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (2017) mengemukakan bahwa salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa adalah penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan implementasi nearpod sebagai alat evaluasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain true experimental. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif post-test kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan nearpod dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan alat evaluasi konvensional berdasarkan hasil independent sample t-test. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan antara hasil independent sample t-test terhadap pre-test dengan hasil independent sample t-test terhadap post-test yang menandakan adanya perbedaan setelah diterapkannya nearpod sebagai alat evaluasi di kelas eksperimen. Selanjutnya, terdapat peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen dari 55,56 menjadi 79,52. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif dengan implementasi nearpod sebagai alat evaluasi pada siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Implementation of a learning platform that provides digital evaluation features is urgently needed at this time, one of them is nearpod which provides a digital learning outcome evaluation feature but can provide fun for students. Generally, teachers still do some evaluation with old way that use paper. Even though implementation of digital evaluation will give teachers a lot of profit. Tim MKDP Indonesian University of Education (2017) stated one of factors that influence student learning outcomes is the use of technology. The purpose of this research is to determine student cognitive learning outcomes with the implementation of nearpod as an evaluation tool. The type of research is experimental research with true experimental design. Based on the results of independent sample t-test, the results showed that there is a significant difference based post-test between experimental class that use nearpod and control class that use conventional evaluation tools. Besides that, there is a difference between results of independent sample t-test on pre-test and results of independent sample t-test on post-test, this indicates a difference after implementation of nearpod as an evaluation tool in experimental class. This research also shows that there is an increase in average cognitive learning outcomes of experimental class from 55,56 to 79,52. Based on the results of research, can be conclude that cognitive learning outcomes with implementation of nearpod as an evaluation tool in grade 5 elementary school students have increased significantly.
