Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk model buku bergambar alfabet berbasis strategi dia tampan untuk membaca dan menulis permulaan di sekolah dasar. Buku bergambar alfabet merupakan buku bergambar yang memuat materi tentang pengenalan huruf, kosakata, tahapan membaca, tahapan menulis, dan strategi sehingga sebuah buku bergambar alfabet dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran membaca dan menulis permulaan. Buku bergambar alfabet dapat didesain dengan menghadirkan kosakata yang bermakna, gambar-gambar, ilustrasi, dan strategi yang menarik dalam mengasah keterampilan membaca dan menulis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini memiliki 4 tahapan penelitian yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (desain), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Responden dalam penelitian dan pengembangan melibatkan tiga ahli materi, dua ahli bahasa, dua ahli media, tujuh guru, lima orang tua, 30 siswa SDN Kebon Jeruk 06 Pagi, 29 siswa SDIT Insan Madani, 10 siswa SDN Pekojan 01 Pagi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk model buku bergambar berbasis strategi dia tampan untuk membaca dan menulis permulaan dinilain dengan sangat baik. Hasil rata-rata menurut ahli dalam uji kelayakan sebesar 95,34%. Hasil rata-rata uji coba terbatas menurut siswa sebesar 98,79%, menurut guru sebesar 97,49%, menurut orang tua sebesar 98%. Produk model buku bergambar alfabet berbasis strategi dia tampan untuk membaca dan menulis permulaan di sekolah dasar merupakan produk pengembangan yang menarik bagi siswa untuk mengasah keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan. Membaca dan menulis permulaan merupakan keterampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki siswa di sekolah dasar. An alphabet picture book is a picture book that contains of letter recognition, vocabulary, stages of strategic reading and writing, so that an alphabet picture book is used for the early reading and writing. The alphabet picture book is designed to present the meaningful vocabularies, pictures, illustrations, and interesting strategies to improve the students' reading and writing skills. The method used is the research and development (R&D) with the 4-D development model. This research and development have four stages; define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research and development involved three material experts, two linguistic experts, two media experts, seven teachers, five parents, 30 students at SDN Kebon Jeruk 06 Pagi, 29 students at SDIT Insan Madani, and 10 students at SDN Pekojan 01 Pagi. The results showed that the alphabet picture book model product based on dia tampan strategy for the early reading and writing was rated very well. The average result according to the expert in the feasibility test is 95.34%. The average result of the limited trial according to the students was 98.79%, to the teachers was 97.49%, to parents was 98%. Thus, the alphabet picture book based on dia tampan strategy for the early reading and writing in primary school is an interesting product for the students to improve the reading and writing skills.
