Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dan civic literacy siswa SMP di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, pengembangan model project citizen berbasis digital dan efektivitas model pembelajaran project citizen berbasis digital terhadap peningkatan civic literacy siswa era kewarganegaraan digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuntitatif desain R&D (Research and Development). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya sebanyak 600 orang dari 6 sekolah dengan sampel sebanyak 128 orang yang terbagi ke dalam 64 siswa kelas kontrol dan 64 siswa kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) diselenggarakan di SMP Kabupaten Tasikmalaya masih belum optimal. Hasil angket tentang materi pembelajaran PPKn dengan kategori kadang-kadang (48,7%), metode pembelajaran PPKn dengan kategori jarang (48,2%), media pembelajaran PPKn dengan kategori jarang (52,36%), sumber belajar PPKn dengan kategori tidak pernah (45,9%), dan evaluasi Pembelajaran PPKn dengan kategori jarang (48,28%). Hasil gambaran awal civic literacy siswa dalam kategori rendah, hanya 38,93% siswa yang mampu mengerjakan soal tentang civic literacy dengan benar. 2) Pengembangan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) menggunakan model project citizen berbasis digital untuk peningkatan civic literacy siswa di era kewarganegaraan digital telah dilaksanakan dengan mengacu pada kondisi pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) yang diselenggarakan di SMP Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Langkah project citizen berbasis digital mengidentifikasi masalah, memilih masalah untuk kajian kelas, mengumpulkan informasi dan dokumentasi berkenaan dengan masalah yang dikaji, membentuk portofolio kelas, menampilkan portofolio, dan merefleksi pengalaman belajar secara digital menggunakan aplikasi Project Citizen berbasis Digital. 3). Efektifitas model pembelajaran project citizen digital berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap peningkatan civic literacy siswa SMP di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Kesimpulannya bahwa model ini dapat meningkatkan civic literacy baik secara teoritis maupun praktis. Model pembelajaran project citizen digital mengajak siswa lebih dekat dengan masalah-masalah yang terjadi di masyarakat dan mengambil keputusan kebijakan alternatif untuk setiap permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Project Citizen berbasis digital, Civic Literacy, Era Kewarganegaraan Digital ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) and civic literacy in Tasikmalaya Junior High School, the development of digital-based project citizen models, and the effectiveness of digital-based project citizen learning models to increase civic literacy of students in the era of digital citizenship. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach to the R&D (Research and Development) design. The data collection technique was done by using questionnaires, observation, documentation study, and literature study. The population in this study were 600 junior high school students from 6 schools with a sample of 128 people divided into 64 control class students and 64 experimental class students. The results showed that: 1) Learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) held at Tasikmalaya Junior High School, is still not optimal. The results of a questionnaire about PPKn learning materials with occasional categories (48.7%), PPKn learning methods with rare categories (48.2%), PPKn learning media with rare categories (52.36%), PPKn learning resources with no categories ever (45.9%), and evaluation of PPKn learning with the rare category (48.28%). The results of the initial description of students' civic literacy were in a low category, only 38.93% of students were able to do questions about civic literacy correctly. 2) Development of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning using a digital-based project citizen model to increase student civic literacy in the era of digital citizenship has been implemented about the conditions of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) held at Tasikmalaya Junior High School,. Digital-based project citizen steps identify problems, select problems for classroom studies, collect information and documentation regarding the problems being studied, form class portfolios, display portfolios, and reflect on learning experiences digitally using applications Project Citizen Digital. 3). The effectiveness of the digital-based project citizen learning model has a significant positive effect on increasing civic literacy for junior high school students in Tasikmalaya Regency. The conclusion is that this model can improve civic literacy both theoretically and practically. The digital citizen project learning model invites students to be closer to the problems that occur in the community and make alternative policy decisions for every problem that exists in the community.
