Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tes higher order thinking skills pada materi momentum dan impuls yang terdiri dari validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran, dan daya pembeda berdasarkan analisis teori respon butir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitaif dan desain penelitian One-Shot Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu sekolah menegah atas di Kota Bandung. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 122 peserta didik kelas XI yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes higher order thinking skills pada materi momentum dan impuls. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, validitas tes dapat dinyatakan baik. Reliabilitas tes efektif dalam mengukur peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah hingga kemampuan sedang. Taraf kesukaran tes termasuk kategori sedang, dan untuk daya pembeda tes termasuk kategori baik sehingga tes tersebut mampu membedakan peserta didik kelompok atas dan kelompok bawah dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), Teori Respon Butir This study aims to determine the characteristics of the higher order thinking skills test on momentum and impulse material consisting of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and differentiation based on item response theory analysis. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach and a One-Shot Design research design. The study population was all students of class XI in a high school in Bandung. The sample of this study consisted of 122 class XI students who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a higher order thinking skills test on momentum and impulse material. Based on the results of the analysis, the validity of the test can be declared good. Reliability test is effective in measuring students with low to moderate ability. The level of difficulty of the test is in the moderate category, and for the distinguishing power of the test, it is in a good category so that the test is able to differentiate between upper and lower group students well..
