Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan adaptabilitas karir berdasarkan faktor-faktor demografi siswa di tiga sekolah di Kabupaten Karawang. Faktor-faktor demografi yang diteliti adalah jenis kelamin, usia, ranking di sekolah, kelas sosial orang tua, pendidikan formal orang tua dan asal sekolah siswa. Ketiga sekolah tersebut adalah SMAN 1 Pedes, SMK Al Inayah Kutamukti, dan Siswa MA Darul Huda. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif komparatif. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa dari ketiga SMA tersebut yaitu sebanyak 271 responden dari SMK Al Inayah Kutamukti, MA Daarul Huda, SMAN 1 Pedes namun yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah sebanyak 253 responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup dengan skala likert 1-5. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji beda one-way Anova dengan melihat uji normalitas data dan homogenitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan adaptabilitas karir berdasarkan jenis kelamin siswa dan tidak memenuhi asumsi homogenitas, tidak terdapat perbedaan adaptabilitas karir siswa berdasarkan faktor demografi usia walaupun asumsi homogenitas terpenuhi, terdapat perbedaan adaptabilitas karir berdasarkan faktor demografi ranking di sekolah dan telah memenuhi asumsi homogenitas, tidak terdapat perbedaan adaptabilitas karir berdasarkan faktor demografi kelas social orang tua walaupun asumsi homogenitas terpenuhi, terdapat perbedaan adaptabilitas karir berdasarkan faktor demografi pendidikan formal orang tua dan telah memenuhi asumsi homogenitas, tidak terdapat perbedaan adaptabilitas karir berdasarkan faktor demografi asal sekolah walaupun asumsi homogenitas terpenuhi. Kata kunci: adaptabilitas karir, faktor demografi   ABSTRACT This study aims to compare career adaptability based on student demographic factors in three schools in Karawang Regency. The demographic factors studied were gender, age, school rank, parents' social class, parents' formal education and students' school origins. The third schools are SMAN 1 Pedes, SMK Al Inayah Kutamukti, and MA Darul Huda Students. The research approach is comparative quantitative. The research design was a survei research. The sample in this study were all students from the three high schools, namely 271 respondents from SMK Al Inayah Kutamukti, MA Daarul Huda, SMAN 1 Pedes, but 253 respondents were used in the study. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5. The analysis technique uses the one way Anova difference test by looking at the data normality test and data homogeneity. The results showed that there was no difference in career adaptability based on student gender and did not meet the homogeneity assumption, there was no difference in student career adaptability based on age demographic factors even though the homogeneity assumption was met, there were differences in career adaptability based on ranking factors in school and fulfilled the homogeneity assumption, none differences in career adaptability based on the demographic factors of parents' social class assumptions of homogeneity assumptions are met, there are differences in career adaptability based on the demographic factors of parental formal education and have met the homogeneity assumption, there is no difference in career adaptability based on demographic factors from school origin even though the homogeneity assumption is met.
