Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul, “Analisis Kebutuhan Guru Sekolah Dasar Berdasarkan Proyeksi Pertumbuhan Penduduk Usia Sekolah Di Kota Purwakarta Tahun 2020-2025” yang dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya pemerataan persebaran jumlah guru Sekolah Dasar, sehingga berdampak pada tidak efektif dan efesiennya penyelenggaraan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan guru sekolah dasar di kota purwakarta tahun 2020-2025 dan sebagai upaya pembangunan pendidikan di Indonesia adalah ketersediaan guru yang memadai, baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Pendidikan Purwakarta dan Badan Statistik kota Purwakarta, menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan study kecenderungan. Data yang digunakan adalah data penduduk, siswa dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan proyeksi dengan Mathematical Equations Approach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kota Purwakarta memiliki kekurangan jumlah guru yang cukup banyak.
This research is entitled, "Analysis of the Needs of Primary School Teachers Based on Projected Growth of the School Age Population in the City of Purwakarta in 2020-2025" which is motivated by the less than optimal distribution of the distribution of the number of elementary school teachers, which results in an ineffective and efficient implementation of the teaching and learning process in schools. The purpose of this study is to determine the needs of elementary school teachers in the city of Purwakarta in 2020-2025 and as an effort to develop education in Indonesia is the availability of adequate teachers, both in quantity and quality. This research was conducted at the Purwakarta Education Office and the Purwakarta Statistics Agency, using descriptive quantitative research methods with trend studies. The data used are population data, students and teachers. Data collection techniques through documentation studies and interviews. The data analysis technique uses a projection with the Mathematical Equations Approach. The results showed that the city of Purwakarta had a significant shortage of teachers.
