    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data mengenai pengaruh dari pendekatan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Based Learning, serta tingkat Motor Educability yang dimiliki siswa terhadap keterampilan dasar renang gaya bebas dan gaya dada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain factorial 2x2. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi SMK Chemica Kota Bandung dan SMA Binadharma Kota Bandung, dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 64 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah IOWA Brace Test, dan Tes Keterampilan Renang Gaya Bebas dan Gaya Dada. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Two Way Anova untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh secara keseluruhan serta mengetahui interaksi antara variable yang utama dengan variable moderat. Selain itu, dalam uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Tukey sebagai uji lanjutan untuk menguji perbedaan pengaruh pada masing-masing variable moderat. Hasil dari penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Based Learning dengan tingkat Motor Educability tinggi dan rendah memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan keterampilan dasar renang gaya bebas dan gaya dada pada siswa. The purpose of this study was to obtain data regarding the effect of the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Based Learning approaches, as well as the level of motor Educability of students on basic freestyle swimming skills and breaststroke. The method used in this study was an experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study were students of SMK Chemica Kota Bandung and SMA Binadharma Kota Bandung, with a total sample size of 64 students. The instruments used in this study were the IOWA Brace Test, and the Freestyle and Breaststroke Swimming Skills Test. The data analysis technique uses Two Way Anova to determine the overall difference in influence and to determine the interaction between the main variable and the moderate variable. In addition, in testing the hypothesis using Tukey's test as a follow-up test to test the difference in the influence of each moderate variable. The results of the study concluded that the use of Problem Based Learning and Discovery Based Learning learning models with high and low levels of Motor Educability had an effect on the basic skills of freestyle swimming and breaststroke in students.
