Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa terhadap Mata Pelajaran PKN di Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan Prespektif Guru yang dapat mempengaruhi proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pandangan guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN di Sekolah Dasar yang berdasarkan motivasi belajar, media pembelajaran, prestasi, apresiasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskripsi analisis. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah UPTD SD Negeri I Tegaltaman dan UPTD SD Negeri Tegaltaman III yang berada di Desa Tegaltaman Kecamatan Sukra Kabupaten Indramayu. Teknik pengumpulkan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan Studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) Perspektif guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN di Sekolah Dasar. (2) Mengembangkan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran PKN di perlukan langkah. Adapun langkah yang diterapkan oleh guru untuk mengembangkan motivasi siswa dan merealisasikan ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. (3) Terdapatnya strategi yang digunakan oleh guru yang belum relevan dengan kurikulum 2013 yang memiliki ciri pembelajaran student center, kreatifitas, mandiri, kerjasama. Dari hasil penelitian diatas terdapat implikasi dalam pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran PKN bahwa guru perlu untuk difasilitasi media pembelajaran, memberikan penguatan kepada anak serta memberikan apresiasi kepada peserta didik sehingga siswa lebih termotivasi. ----- This research is motivated by the lack of student motivation towards civic education Subjects in Elementary Schools based on the Teacher's Perspective which can affect the process of teaching and learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's view of student learning motivation towards civic education subjects in elementary schools based on learning motivation, learning media, achievement, appreciation. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Participants in this study were UPTD SD Negeri I Tegaltaman and UPTD SD Negeri Tegaltaman III located in Tegaltaman Village, Sukra District, Indramayu Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results showed (1) the teacher's perspective on student learning motivation in Civics subjects in elementary schools. (2) Developing student learning motivation towards Civics subjects requires steps. There are steps taken by the teacher to develop student motivation and realize it in everyday life. (3) There are strategies used by teachers that are not yet relevant to the 2013 curriculum which has the characteristics of student center learning, creativity, independence, cooperation. From the results of the research above, there are implications in learning in civic education subjects that teachers need to be facilitated by learning media, provide reinforcement to children and give appreciation to students so that students are more motivated.
