Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep ipa kelas V Sekolah Dasar yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya percobaan-percoban ilmiah yang dilakukan oleh siswa dan penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik yang belum optimal. Untuk pemahaman konsep ipa siswa, peneliti merancang Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis metode eksperimen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Menghasilkan rancangan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis metode eksperimen untuk pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar, (2) Mengetahui respon kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis metode eksperimen untuk pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan model peffers. Ada 6 tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Identifikasi Masalah, (2) Mendeskripsikan Tujuan, (3) Desain produk, (4) Validasi Produk, dan (5) Evaluasi produk. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis metode eksperimen untuk pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. LKPD ini memperoleh persentase kelayakan dari 2 ahli dengan aspek kelayakan isi, kelayakan kegiatan siswa, kelayakan bahasa, dan kelayakan tampilan. Hasil validasi dari kedua ahli diperoleh persentase kelayakan rata-rata 86 % dengan kriteria sangat layak.. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis metode eksperimen untuk pemahaman konsep IPA kelas V Sekolah Dasar ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan pembelajaran. ABSTRACT DESIGN OF STUDENT WORK SHEETS BASED ON EXPERIMENTS METHOD TO UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT OF SAINS OF FIFTH GRADE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Rina Nurhidayat 1608020 The background of this research is based on the low understanding concept of sains of fifth grade elementary school studens because lack of scientific experiments conducted by student and the use of student worksheets not optimal. For the undertstanding concept of sains, the researcher design the student worksheets based on experiment method. The purposes of the research are: 1) Generate the student worksheets based on experiment method to the comprehension concept of sains of fifth in grade elementary school, (2) Knowing the eligibility of the student worksheets based on experiment method to understanding concept of sains of fifth in grade elementary school. The used method of this research is design and development (D&D), which adopt Peffers model with steps: (1) Identify the problem, (2) Describe the objects, (3) Design the product, and (4) Product Revision 5)communicate the results . The Results of this Research is design of student worksheets based on experiment method to improve the understanding concept of sains of fifth grade in elementary school. The student worksheet achieved percentage from two validator which substance aspect, student activities, the language, and the design. The percentage achieved from the student worksheets validity tes of 86 % means that student worksheets is feasible. Based on the result, the student worksheet based on experiment method to understanding the concept of sains of fifth in grade elementary school are very feasible.
