    Abstract

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media buku harian untuk pembelajaran menulis permulaan siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar. Media buku harian dikembangkan melalui metode Design and Development (D&D) model Peffer, dkk. Model Peffer, dkk. memiliki 6 tahapan, yaitu (1)Identify the problem, mengobservasi kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Menemukan permasalahan terkait rendahnya keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas I SD dan ketidaktersediaannya media pembelajaran khusus yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran menulis permulaan. Melakukan studi literatur terkait media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran menulis. Media buku harian dapat digunakan sebagai sarana dalam membelajarkan dan melatih keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas I SD. (2)Describe the objectives, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media buku harian untuk pembelajaran menulis permulaan siswa kelas I SD. (3)Design and develop the artifact, membuat rancangan media buku harian. Mengembangkan rancangan media buku harian. Membuat desain media buku harian. Memproduksi desain media buku harian ke dalam bentuk buku. (4)Test the artifact, Buku harian diujicoba kepada ahli media, ahli materi, dan guru melalui validasi, sedangkan kepada siswa melalui wawancara. (5)Evaluate the result of testing, validasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media buku harian. Presentase rata-rata hasil validasi, yaitu 95,93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan tanggapan positif siswa terhadap media buku harian. Media buku harian layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran menulis permulaan siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar. (6)Communicate the testing result, hasil ujicoba dikomunikasikan melalui dua cara, yaitu secara tertulis melalui laporan (skripsi) dan lisan melalui ujian sidang.

    ABSTRACT

    The purpose of this research is to develop diary bookmedia for to pre-writing learning of grade I student in elementary school. The diary bookmedia was developed through the Design and Development (D&D) method of Peffer, et al. Peffer's model, et al., has 6 stages, namely (1) Identify the problem, observe learning activities in the class. Found problems related to the low pre-writing skills of grade I students in elementary school and unavailability of special instructional media used for pre-writing learning. Conduct literature studies related to instructional media that can be used for learning to write. The diary bookmedia can be used as a means of teach and train the pre-writing skills of grade I student in elementary school. (2) Describe the objectives, The purpose of this research is to develop a diary bookmedia for pre-writing learning of grade I students in elementary schoos. (3) Design and develop the artifact, make a draft design of diary bookmedia. Develop a diary bookmedia design. Create a diary bookmedia design. Producing diary bookmedia design into book. (4) Test the artifact, diary bookmedia is tested to media experts, material experts, and teachers through validation, while for students through interview. (5) Evaluate the result of testing, validation is done to determine the feasibility of the diary bookmedia. The average percentage of validation results is 95.93% with very good category. The results of the interview showed students' positive responses to the diary bookmedia. Diary bookmedia is suitable to be used for to pre-writing learning of grade I students elementary school. (6) Communicate the testing result, the test results are communicated in two ways, namely in writing through a report (thesis) and orally through a trial exam
