Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi siswa yang bergaya visual tidak diperhatikan oleh guru hingga mempengaruhi tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah. Siswa tidak fokus mengikuti pembelajaran tematik dan seringkali merasa takut ketika memberikan pendapat. Permasalahan tersebut bisa diselesaikan dengan memberikan proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan gaya belajar visual siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual dalam memecahkan masalah tematik di salah satu SDN Kota Bekasi Utara dengan pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif tipe studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga orang siswa kelas VI. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis yang dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa siswa bisa tetap fokus dan cepat paham selama proses pembelajaran tematik secara daring dengan ditunjukkan pada setiap indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis sudah termasuk kategori “baik”. Hasil penelitian lainnya menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual, dapat dilihat dari hasil tes siswa yang mendapat nilai tes mencapai kategori “tinggi”. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan faktor selalu diberi kesempatan mengeluarkan pendapat yang diterima siswa selama pembelajaran daring membuat siswa bisa mencapai sikap berpikir kritis terhadap suatu masalah. This research is motivated by students that have visual study style unnoticed by the teacher to influence the level of critical thinking skills is still low. Students do not focus on following thematic learning and often feel afraid when giving opinions. These problems can be solved by providing a learning process that is appropriate to the visual study style. This research aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students that have a visual study style in solving thematic problems in one of the elementary school in North Bekasi City with online learning. This research uses a qualitative research method of case study type. The subjects of this research were three students in sixth grade. Data collection uses critical thinking test and interviews. The analysis technique is done through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that students can stay focused and quickly understand during the thematic learning process online by showing each indicator of critical thinking skills included in the "good" category. Other research results show an increase in students critical thinking skills that have visual study style, can be seen from the test results of students who get test scores reaching the "high" category. The results of the research also showed that the factor was always given the opportunity to issue opinions received by students during online learning so that students could achieve a critical thinking attitude towards a problem.
