Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis paragraf narasi di sekolah dasar hingga saat ini belum mendapatkan perhatian serius. Hal ini berakibat pada rendahnya kemampuan menulis siswa dan tidak terbiasa untuk menulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan analisis pengaruh metode pembelajaran quantum writing berbantuan big book terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf narasi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen rancangan pretest-postttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas dua SD Mathlaul Khoeriyah Tamansari Bandung dengan jumlah sampel 42 siswa yang terbagi dalam dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi lompatan yang dihasilkan dari interkasi pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung, sehingga terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran metode quantum writing berbantuan big book. Hal tersebut ditunjukan oleh perbedaan rerata antara posttest eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menerapkan metode quantum writing berbantuan big book dan posstest kontrol tanpa diberikan perlakuan pada kemampuan menulis narasi siswa. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode quantum writing berbantuan big book berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf narasi siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian dengan adanya temuan-temuan pada penelitian ini dapat menjadi pembaharuan dalam pembelajaran menulis siswa. Learning to write narrative paragraphs in schools has so far not received serious attention. This results in a low ability to write students and are not accustomed to writing. This study aims to obtain an analysis of the effect of quantum writing learning methods assisted by big books on the ability to write narrative paragraphs of elementary school students. The research method used was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was the second grade students of Mathlaul Khoeriyah Tamansari Bandung Elementary School with a sample of 42 students divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that there was a high jump resulting from interaction during the learning process, so there was an influence on the learning method of quantum writing method assisted by the big book. This is shown by the average difference between the experimental posttest given treatment by applying the quantum writing method assisted by big book and posstest control without being given treatment in the ability to write student narratives. From these results it can be concluded that the quantum writing method assisted by big books has an effect on the ability to write narrative paragraphs for elementary school students. Thus with the findings in this study can be a renewal in student writing learning.
