Abstract
Model pembelajaran merupakan rancangan penyajian materi dalam proses pembelajaran yang akan diterapkan kepada peserta didik guna tercapainya tujuan dari pembelajaran. Akan tetapi, model pembelajaran dalam kenyataannya masih di dominasi oleh model konvensional yang membuat motivasi belajar peserta didik tidak tergugah sehingga hasil belajar pun tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 25 Bandung dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu atau kuasi eksperimen, hal ini dikarenakan pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan kriteria tertentu sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian sehingga diperlukan tes awal untuk mengetahui keadaan sebelum adanya perlakuan yang diberikan. Dalam metode ini diperlukan dua kelompok untuk dapat menghasilkan kesimpulan yang dapat menjawab permasalahan dalam penelitian. Untuk sampel penelitian di tentukan pada kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dari motivasi belajar, hasil belajar dan tingkat ketuntasan antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran sosiologi menggunakan model pembelajaran project citizen dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.; The learning model is a design of delivering subject in the learning process which will be applied to the students to achieve the purpose of learning. However, in reality, the learning model is still dominated by using the conventional learning model that makes the learning motivation is decreasing so that the learning outcome is not optimal. This study is held in SMA Negeri 25 Bandung and using the quantitative method by quasi-experiment due to the selection of sample is based on the certain criteria so that it requires the first test to find out the previous condition before given the treatment. This method requires two groups to obtain a conclusion that can answer the problem of this research. The sample of this study is determined on the eleventh grade of IPS 1 as the experiment group and XI of IPS 2 as the control group. The result of this study shows that there is a difference from the learning motivation, the learning outcome and the completion level between the students who are treated by the project citizen learning model and those who are treated by the conventional learning model.
