Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL UPI Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan di SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatankuantitatif. Subyek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X kompetensi keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang sebanyak 52 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknikkuesioner dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas butir dilakukan dengan teknikkorelasi Product Moment dari Pearson. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumusAlpha Cronbach. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknikdeskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa PPL Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan di SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang berada di kategori baik. Bila dilihat dari masing- masing aspek keterampilan mengajar maka : 1) keterampilan membuka pelajaran masuk dalam kategori baik; 2) keterampilan menutuppelajaran masuk dalam kategori baik; 3) keterampilan menjelaskan masuk dalam kategori; 4)keterampilan bertanya masuk dalam kategori baik; 5) keterampilan memberikan penguatanmasuk dalam kategori kurang baik; 6) keterampilan mengadakan variasi masuk dalam kategoribaik; 7)keterampilan membimbing diskusi kelompok kecil masuk dalam kategoribaik; 8) keterampilan mengelola kelas masukdalam kategori baik; 9) keterampilan mengajar kelompok kecil dan perorangan masukdalam kategori.;---This study was intended to know about the perception of students about the teaching skills of UPI’s Student of Study Program on Building Engineering Education as a Field Practician’s Student, At Sumedang 1st Vocational High School. This study use the descriptive research method with quantitative approach. The study itself, involved 52 students from 10th Grade in the Modelling Design and Building Information Expertise At Sumedang 1st Vocational High School. The data collection’s method was using questionnaires and documentation. For the validity of item was tested using product moment’s correlation technique from Pearson. The reliability test was tested using Alpha Cronbach’s formula. Data were analyzed by using descriptive quantitative statistics with percentage.The results showed that the Students Perception about the teaching skills of UPI’s Student of Study Program on Building Engineering Education as a Field Practician’s was in the good category.When viewed from each aspect of the review, the results is :1) The skill to open the lessons was in the good category; 2) The skill to close the lessons was in the good category; 3) The skill to explain was in the good category; 4) The asking skill was in the good category; 5) The skill to provide the reinforcement was in the not good category; 6)held a variety skillwas in the good category; 7) the skill to guide smallgroup discussions in the good category; 8) classroom management skill in the good category; 9) small groups and individual teaching skillin the good category.
