Abstract

Manajemen kurikulum merupakan sebuah sistem yang digunakan sekolah untuk dapat mengimplementasikan kurikulum dengan baik dan benar. Banyak sekolah yang tidak optimal mengimplementasikan kurikulum sehingga tidak tercapai tujuan pendidikannya dikarenakan tidak mampu menjalankan manajemen kurikulum dengan baik. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran sejauh mana implementasi manajemen kurikulum 2013 di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bandung Barat yang dilihat dari aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi dengan strategi konkuren. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Secara umum, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen kurikulum 2013 di MAN Bandung Barat dilakukan dengan mengikuti fungsi-fungsi manajemen meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kepala madrasah yang memiliki visi yang jelas dan kepemimpinan yang tegas, sumber daya guru dan tenaga pendidik yang cukup, serta sumber pendanaan yang relatif stabil menjadi faktor pendukung keberhasilan implementasi manajemen kurikulum 2013 di MAN Bandung Barat. Secara khusus, temuan penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: 1) Perencanaan Kurikulum 2013 dilakukan melalui kegiatan rapat awal tahun bersama para guru dan tenaga kependidikan, serta melakukan analisis struktur kurikulum, analisis kebutuhan guru, menyusun jadwal mengajar, dan pembekalan guru; 2) Pengorganisasian Kurikulum 2013 dilakukan melalui kegiatan rapat atau briefing, pendistribusian tugas kepada guru dan tenaga kependidikan, membangun budaya dan iklim madrasah serta mengikuti kebijakan nasional terkait Kurikulum 2013; 3) Pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan kaidah-kaidah Kurikulum 2013, kegiatan pengembangan diri peserta didik, serta kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi guru; 4) Evaluasi Kurikulum 2013 dilakukan melalui kegiatan supervisi akademik dan kegiatan monitoring kurikulum terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar (analisis nilai hasil belajar), lulusan yang diterima di perguruan tinggi dan kegiatan kesiswaan. Kata kunci: implementasi kurikulum; manajemen kurikulum; kurikulum 2013; kurikulum madrasah THE IMPLEMENTATION OF 2013 CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT IN MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI BANDUNG BARAT ABSTRACT Curriculum management is a system that is applied by schools to appropriately implement the curriculum. Many schools fail to implement curriculum or have poor curriculum management. Thus, they fail to achieve their educational goals. Based on this issue, this current research aims to identify the implementation of 2013 curriculum management in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bandung Barat by referring to aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. This study is mix-method with concurrent strategies. The data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. In general, this study found that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum management in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bandung Barat followed the management functions such as planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The principal has a clear vision and good leadership. This school has a sufficient number of teachers, teaching resources, and a relatively stable source of funding. They became supporting factors in succeeding in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum management. Specifically, the findings of the research were: 1) the 2013 Curriculum was planned through meetings at the beginning of the year by involving teachers and education personnel, analyzing curriculum structure, analyzing teacher needs, preparing teaching schedules, and providing training for teachers; 2) The 2013 Curriculum was organized through meetings or briefings, distributing tasks to teachers and education personnel, developing the school culture, and following national policies related to the 2013 Curriculum; 3) The implementation of the 2013 Curriculum was through the application of curriculum principles into the learning activities, student self-development activities, and teacher competence development activities; 4) The evaluation of the 2013 Curriculum was through academic supervision and curriculum monitoring concerning the teaching and learning activities (analysis of learning outcomes), the number of graduates accepted in tertiary institutions, and student activities.
