Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada siswa SMK dalam materi sistem dan instalasi refrigerasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Rata – rata nilai N-Gain pada siklus I 0,41, pada siklus II sebesar 0,52, dan pada siklus III sebesar 0,59. Rata-rata nilai N-Gain siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I hingga siklus III dan berada pada kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sistem dan Instalasi Refrigerasi. This study aims to determine the results of the application of the problem based learning model for vocational students in the system material and refrigeration installation. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consisted of three cycles. The results showed that student learning outcomes have increased in each cycle. The average N-Gain value in cycle I was 0.41, in cycle II it was 0.52, and in cycle III it was 0.59. The average N-Gain score of students has increased from cycle I to cycle III and is in the medium criteria. Based on the results of the study, the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Refrigeration Systems and Installations.
