Abstract

Tunagrahita sedang memiliki memiliki IQ 54-40 menurut skala Weschler, kondisi IQ dibawah rata-rata menyebabkan kemampuan akan motorik kasar khususnya pada keterampilan lokomotor menjadi terhambat karena salah satu faktor pada kemampuan motorik adalah kemampuan mental dan kecerdasan. Berdasarkan observasi pendahuluan di SLB C Sukapura dilaksanakan pembelajaran olahraga yang berfokus pada keterampilan gerak lokomotor namun dalam pelaksanaannya kurang berkembang dan tidak sejalan dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki anak khususnya untuk tunagrahita sedang. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi yang kemudian di analisis melalui langkah-langkah yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan program keterampilan gerak lokomotor bagi siswa tunagrahita sedang di SLB C Sukapura yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Program ini memiliki dua tahapan yaitu asesmen dan penerapan model permainan tanpa alat yang dapat diturunkan menjadi RPP sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Melalui program yang telah disusun ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran olahraga khususnya mengenai keterampilan gerak lokomotor sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya keterampilan gerak lokomotor anak tunagrahita sedang. ..... Moderate mentally retarded has IQ between 54 – 50 based on Weschler’s scale, a person must have an IQ is below moderate causing raw motoric ability, especially on locomotor skill being inhibited because one of the factors on motoric ability is mental ability and intelligence. Based on preliminary observations at SLB C Sukapura, sports learning that focuses on locomotor movement skills was carried out, but in practice it is less developed and not in line with students’ ability, especially for moderate mentally retarded students. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study used; interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies which then analyzed through several steps which are; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study found a development of locomotor movement skill program for moderate mentally retarded students in SLB C Sukapura which had been validated by experts. The program constructs by two stages; assessment and application of non-tool game models that can be derived into RPP based on users’ needs. Through this arranged program, it is expected to be able to optimalized sports learning, especially on locomotor movement skill, so that it can gives impact on the increase of locomotor movement skill on moderate mentally retarded students.
