Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan permasalahan yaitu belum ada program khusus perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) berbasis life skill untuk anak prasekolah di Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak (PSAA). Program perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) yang dilaksanakan pada umumnya di PSAA belum memiliki sasaran, tujuan, sumber belajar serta masih menggunakan metode hanya berupa ceramah dan bercerita saja, tidak di dukung dengan media audio visual seperti video edukasi. Program penyuluhan perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) untuk anak prasekolah ini bertujuan untuk membantu penyuluh dalam memberikan pembekalan mengenai perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) untuk anak prasekolah usia 3-6 tahun, sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah pembuatan program penyuluhan perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) berbasis life skill untuk anak pra sekolah di Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian PPE yang meliputi Planning, Production, dan Evaluation. Program perawatan kebersihan diri yang dirancang terdiri dari identitas program, tujuan, materi, metode, skenario kegiatan, dan evaluasi program. Hasil expert judgement mengenai program penyuluhan perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) untuk anak prasekolah berada pada kriteria atau kategori sangat layak. Ketercapaian tersebut diketahui setelah program yang peneliti buat divalidasi oleh para ahli. Rekomendasi untuk pengelola PSAA dan peneliti selanjutnya, hendaknya program penyuluhan perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) untuk anak prasekolah yang telah divalidasi oleh tiga ahli dapat diimplementasikan serta jadikan panduan pelaksanaan program perawatan kebersihan diri (personal hygiene) berbasis life skill untuk anak prasekolah. The research is based on problem that there is no special life skill based personal hygiene treatment program for pre-school children at the Orphanage. Personal hygiene treatment programs carried out in general at Orphanage do not have goals, objectives, learning resources and still use methods only in the form of lectures and storytelling, not supported by audio-visual media such as educational videos. The counseling program for personal hygiene for pre-school children aims to help guardians in providing debriefing on personal hygiene care for pre-school children aged 3-6 years, while the purpose of this study is making life skill based personal hygiene care extension program for pre-school children in Orphanage. This study uses the PPE research model which includes Planning, Production, and Evaluation. The designed personal hygiene care program consists of program identity, objectives, material, methods, activity scenarios, and program evaluations. The results of an expert judgment regarding the counseling program on personal hygiene care for pre-school children are in the criteria or categories that are very feasible. These achievements are known after the program that researchers made validated by experts. Recommendations for PSAA managers and further researchers, the counseling program for personal hygiene for pre-school children that has been validated by three experts can be implemented as well as making a guide to the implementation of life skills based personal hygiene care programs for pre-school children.
