Abstract

enelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran
picture and picture berbantukan multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar
siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar. Tujuan ini berdasarkan wawancara kepada
guru dan penyebaran angket kepada siswa di SMK Indonesia Raya Bandung yang
menyatakan bahwa siswa merasa kesulitan dalam mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar
khususnya dalam materi percabangan. Dalam pelaksanaannya penelitian ini menggunakan
metode penelitian mixed methods. Objek penelitian menggunakan dua jenis kelas yaitu
kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Siswa pada kedua kelas ini diberikan perlakuan
berbeda pada saat penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture. Dari hasil penelitian
ini didapatkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas kontrol masuk kedalam kategori
rendah dan kelas eksperimen masuk kedalam kategori sedang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan
hasil uji gain dari kelas kontrol sebesar 0,29 sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,41
yang diperoleh dari penghitungan nilai pretest dan posttest. Hasil pengujian ini
menunjukan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam penerapan model
pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibanding
pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan multimedia interaktif. Respons siswa terhadap
multimedia interaktif yang didapat setelah dilakukan proses pembelajaran memperoleh
persentase rata-rata sebesar 84% yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik.

This research was conducted to find out how the application of interactive multimediaassisted picture and picture learning models can improve students' learning outcomes of
basic programming subjects. This objective is based on interviews with teachers and
distributing questionnaires to students at SMK Indonesia Raya Bandung stating that
students feel difficulties in basic programming subjects especially in the branching section.
In the implementation of this research using mixed methods research. The research object
uses two types of classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. Students in
these two classes were given different treatment when applying the picture and picture
learning model. From the results of this study it was found that increased learning outcomes
in the control class entered into the low category and the experimental class into the
medium category. This is evidenced by the results of the gain test of the control class of
0.29 while the experimental class of 0.41 obtained from the calculation of the pretest and
posttest values. The results of this test show that the use of interactive multimedia in the
application of picture and picture learning models can improve student learning outcomes
compared to learning without using interactive multimedia. Student responses to interactive
multimedia obtained after the learning process obtained an average percentage of 84%
which is included in the excellent category.
