Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kerja sama dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SD Negeri di kota Bandung. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya kontribusi siswa pada pembelajaran kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together untuk meningkatan kemampuan kerja sama dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas mengadaptasi dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus dengan instrumen penelitian lembar pelaksanaan Numbererd Head Together, lembar observasi kemampuan kerja sama, lembar evaluasi individu. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VA yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Hasil siklus I menunjukkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa meningkat setiap indikatornya dengan jumlah enam indikator yaitu 79%, 78%, 66%, 76%, 72%, dan 68% dengan ketuntasan belajar mencapai 46%. Sedangkan siklus II diperoleh hasil setiap indikatornya yaitu 94%, 87%, 91%, 92%, 92%, dan 93% dengan ketuntasan belajar mencapai 88%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together pada kelas V terbukti dapat meningkatakn kemampuan kerja sama dan hasil belajar IPS siswa. Oleh karena itu diharapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together dapat dijadikan suatu alternatif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas untuk meningkatakan kemampuan kerja sama dan hasil belajar siswa. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low ability of cooperation and the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in state elementary schools in the city of Bandung. This is due to the lack of student contributions to group learning. This study aims to describe the application of the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning to improve cooperative skills and social learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. This research method is a class action research adapted from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The study was carried out in two cycles with the research instrument implementing sheet Numbererd Head Together, an observation sheet of cooperative ability, an individual evaluation sheet. Research subjects VA class students totaling 24 students. The results of the first cycle showed the ability of students to cooperate with each indicator increased by the number of six indicators namely 79%, 78%, 66%, 76%, 72%, and 68% with mastery learning reaching 46%. While the second cycle obtained the results of each indicator that is 94%, 87%, 91%, 92%, 92%, and 93% with mastery learning reaches 88%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning in class V is proven to be able to increase the ability of students to cooperate and study social studies. Therefore, it is hoped that cooperative learning with the Numbered Head Together type can be used as an alternative in carrying out learning activities in the classroom to increase the ability of cooperation and student learning outcomes.
