Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan metode pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode konvensional atau ceramah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dengan menerapkan pendekatan SAVI ( Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intelektual) dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini , adalah untuk mendeksripsikan bagaimana penerapan pendekatan SAVI untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas II di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis pemelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain peneltiian Kemmis dan Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaa, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui dua siklus dengan teknik analisi data kualitatif yang melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, paparan data, dan penyimpulan sedangkan kuantitatif melalui perhitungan olah data dalam lembar observasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar C di Kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi penerapan pendekatan SAVI, lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa, dan lembar evaluasi, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini, berdasarkan siklus I dan siklus II menunjukan bahwa aktivits dan hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan SAVI dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SD.;---This research is motivated by the low activity and student learning outcomes. This is because the learning method still uses conventional methods or lectures. Therefore, this research was conducted to overcome this problem, by applying the SAVI approach (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe how the SAVI approach is applied to improve the activities and learning outcomes of class II students in elementary schools. This type of research is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart research design which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was carried out through two cycles with qualitative data analysis techniques that went through three stages, namely data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion while quantitative through calculation of data in the observation sheet. The subject of this study was grade II students of Elementary School C in the City of Bandung. The instrument of this study consisted of observation sheets on the application of the SAVI approach, observation sheets for student learning activities, and evaluation sheets, as well as documentation. The results of this study, based on cycle I and cycle II show that learning activities and results have increased. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the application of the SAVI approach can increase student activity and learning outcomes in elementary school.
