Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi siswa yang kurang aktif dalam mengerjakan tugas yang memerlukan kreativitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang menjabarkan secara rinci terhadap hasil analisis karya seni rupa tiga dimensi yang dibuat oleh siswa kelas II SD. Seni rupa tiga dimensi adalah hasil dari kegiatan dalam hal ini adalah benda yang didalamnya memiliki unsur-unsur karya seni rupa tiga dimensi seperti unsur bentuk termasuk panjang, lebar, tinggi, serta bidang yang geometris atau non geometris, tekstur halus, kasar, licin, kesat, dan lain sebagainya, memiliki ruang geometris seperti ruang kerucut, tabung, bola, kubah, dan lain-lain atau ruang tidak beraturan, kesesuaian dengan tema yang peneliti tentukan. Yang dalam proses membuat karya tersebut membutuhkan kreativitas meliputi kemampuan kelancaran (fluency), keluwesan (flexibility), keaslian (originality), dan penguraian (elaboration). Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu SD di Kota Bandung. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 karya seni rupa yang dibuat oleh siswa kelas II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu menciptakan karya seni rupa tiga dimensi dengan unsur-unsur yang ada didalamnya, tetapi kurang berkreativitas dalam membuat karyanya karena tidak memiliki beberapa aspek berpikir kreatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, diharapkan adanya kerja sama anatara pihak guru dan sekolah untuk menaruh perhatian lebih kepada mata pelajaran seni di sekolah.;---This research is motivated by the condition of students who are less active in doing tasks that require creativity. This research uses descriptive qualitative method which describes in detail to result of analysis of three-dimensional artwork created by second grade students of elementary school. Three-dimensional art is the result of activity in this case is an object in which has elements of the form of work including the length, width, height, and the field of geometric or non geometric, fine texture, rough, slippery, rigid, geometric spaces such as conical spaces, tubes, spheres, domes, etc. or irregular spaces, conformity to the theme that the researcher specifies. Which in the process requires creativity include fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The study was conducted on one elementary school in Bandung. Subjects in this research are 30 works of art that are made by second grade students. The results showed that students were able to create works of art with elements that exist in it, but less creative in making his work because it does not have some aspects of creative thinking. Based on the results of the study, it is expected that the cooperation between teachers and schools to pay more attention to the art subjects in school.
