Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang performa guru terutama kepada guru di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat persepsi siswa tentang guru mereka dari segi performa dalam mengajar dan kesehariannya, serta tingkat keutamaan/prioritas dari setiap aspek performa guru, juga hubungan dari dua variable tersebut, yang akan menjadi bahan refleksi guru serta dapat berdampak pada efektifitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode riset deskriptif dalam bentuk survei dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik multi stage cluster sampling serta instrumen pengumpulan data utama meggunakan angket dan instrumen wawancara sebagai data tambahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di 12 Sekolah Dasar Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Bandung dengan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 373 siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performa guru berdasarkan persepsi siswa sudah baik dalam seluruh aspek. Berikut secara berurutan berdasarkan performa yang paling baik mulai dari 1) Aspek penguasaan konten materi; 2) Aspek penguasan cara menyampaikan materi; 3) Aspek penguasaan dalam menangani siswa; 4) Aspek penguasaan diri. Kemudian persepsi siswa tentang tingkat keutamaan/ prioritas terhadap keempat aspek yang ditentukan peneliti secara berurutan sebagai berikut, 1) aspek penguasaan konten materi; 2) aspek penguasan cara menyampaikan materi; 3) aspek penguasaan dalam menangani siswa; 4) aspek penguasaan diri. Hal tersebut menunjukkan korelasi terhadap dua variable dikarenakan pandangan siswa terhadap guru yang baik kurang luas atau kurang referensi.;---This research is based on the importance of knowing the students' perceptions of teachers' performance especially to teachers in Elementary School. This research aims to see students' perceptions of their teachers in terms of performance in teaching, as well as the level of priority of each aspect of teachers' performance, and it will show the correlation of two variables, which will be reflection of teachers and can impact on the effectiveness of learning. This research uses quantitative approach with descriptive research method in the form of survey with sampling using multi stage cluster sampling technique and main data collection instrument using questionnaire and interview instrument as additional data. This research is conducted in 12 State and Private Elementary Schools in Bandung city with the number of samples amounted to 373 5th grade students of Elementary School Academic Year 2017/2018. The results show that based on students' perception, teachers' performance is good in all aspects. The following sequentially based on the best performance ranging from 1) Content Mastery; 2) Delivery Mastery; 3) Audience Mastery; 4) Self Mastery. Then the perception of students about the level of priority to the four aspects of the researchers determined in sequence as follows, 1) Content Mastery; 2) Delivery Mastery; 3) Audience Mastery; 4) Self Mastery. It shows the correlation of two variables because the students' view of the teacher is either less widespread or less reference.
