Abstract

Permainan kasti di sekolah saat ini sangat jarang dimainkan akibatnya keterampilan bermain kasti di sekolah masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bermain kasti dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran ikuiri melalui berbagai aktivitas lempar tangkap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus di SDN 025 Cikutra dengan subjek 39 siswa, terdiri dari 22 siswa perempuan dan 17 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa observasi. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan pengamatan pada keterampilan bermain kasti. Berdasarkan analisis data pada data awal mencapai rata-rata presentase (63,30%). Pada siklus I tindakan I menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bermain kasti mengalami peningkatan rata-rata persentase menjadi (69,80%). Pada siklus I tindakan II menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bermain kasti siswa mengalami peningkatan rata-rata persentase yaitu (74,62%). Pada siklus II tindakan I menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bermain kasti mengalami peningkatan rata-rata persentase yaitu (76,73%). Pada siklus II tindakan II menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bermain kasti siswa mengalami peningkatan rata-rata persentase yaitu (78,17%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri melalui berbagai aktivitas lempar tangkap dapat meningkatkan keterampian bermain kasti pada siswa kelas V SDN 025 Cikutra. ;---The game of rounders is hardly ever played at school, and the consequence is that the student’s creativity to play rounders is still poor. The objective of this research is to increase the student’s creativity to play rounders through activities such as throw and catch. The method that was used in this research is Classroom research action. (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). This research was held in two different cycles in SDN 025 Cikutra with the amount of 39 subjects, including 22 female students and 17 male students. The instrument that was used is observation. The data of this research is obtained through observing the student’s creativity when playing rounders. Based on the data from the first analysis, the student’s creativity of playing rounders are (63,30%). In the first cycle, the 1st action shows an increase of creativity, which is (69,80%). The 2nd action in the first cycle shows an increase of creativity as well, which is (74,62%). In the second cycle, the 1st action shows an increase of creativity, which is (76,73%). The 2nd action in the second cycle shows an increase as well, which is (78,17%). It can be assumed that the implementation of inquiry learning approach to play rounders through throw and catch activities can increase the student’s creativity to play rounders.
