Abstract

Ilmu nahwu merupakan salah satu ilmu yang harus dipelajari oleh santri. Pemahaman
terhadap ilmu nahwu dan ilmu sharaf sangat diperlukan untuk menguasai empat aspek
kemahiran bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan terhadap santri, teknik
pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang variatif dan hal ini pun terlihat dari rata-rata nilai
Ulangan Akhir Semester (UAS) yang masih di bawah Ketuntasan Belajar Minimal (KBM).
Pada kenyataannya santri merasa kesulitan di dalam memahami kaidah ilmu nahwu, yang
menyebabkan kemampuan menulis dan membaca santri rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui kemampuan memahami kaidah ilmu nahwu santri setelah diberi perlakuan
menggunakan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray, ada atau tidak adanya
efektivitas perlakuan tersebut terhadap peningkatan memahami kaidah ilmu nahwu santri.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi eksperimen kuasi dengan
menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis,
penggunaan teknik pembelajaran kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray di kelas eksperimen efektif
di dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ilmu nahwu. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-gain,
efektivitas berada dalam kategori sedang.. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan rujukan
sebagai salah satu alternatif solusi pemecahan masalah santri di dalam memahami kaidah
ilmu nahwu.;--Nahwu is one of the science that must be learned by santri. The understanding of nahwu and sharaf is
really needed to mastered four aspects of skilfulness arabic. Based on observations of students,
learning techniques used less varied and this is can be seen from the average score of semester exam
which is still below the standard. But in reality the students have some troubles in writing simple
sentences in Arabics. In fact, santri had difficulty in understanding the principle of nahwu, that causes
the lack of writing and reading ability. The purpose of this research is to know the students skill in
nahwu after applying this learning technique and the effectivity of this learning technique in attempt
to increase the students’ skill. Based on the calculation on the hypothesis, the use of learning
cooperative two stay two stray in the class experiment effective in improve the ability nahwu. Based
on the calculation on n-gain , the effectiveness of be in medium category. This research is expected to
solve this problem using cooperative learning technique Two Stay Two Stray.
