Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil pola dialog pembelajaran serta pergeserannya dalam pembelajaran IPA menggunakan pendekatan analisis TBLA (Transcript Based Lesson Analysis). Fokus dari praktik pola dialog pada penelitian ini adalah melihat bagaimana profil pola komunikasi verbal dan pola hubungan saling mendengar pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian berlangsung selama tiga siklus lesson study pada mata pelajaran IPA SMP dengan materi getaran dan gelombang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah video dan audio recorder serta lembar catatan lapangan peneliti. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah transkrip pembelajaran, artefak pembelajaran dan hasil wawancara klinis selama penelitian. Analisis utama dilakukan terhadap transkrip pembelajaran dan analisis tambahan dilakukan terhadap artefak pembelajaran dan hasil wawancara klinis untuk memperkuat analisis utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus 1 -3 lesson study dalam sesi diskusi klasikal terdapat kecenderungan pola komunikasi verbal yang terbentuk secara berturut turut yakni pola teacher semi-equal dialogic pattern, teacher equal dialogic pattern dan teacher equal dialogic pattern. Pola hubungan saling mendengarkan secara berturut-turut membentuk kecenderungan pola semi-equal listening relationship pattern, equal listening relationship pattern dan equal listening relationship pattern. Secara umum, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terbentuk pergeseran pola dialog pembelajaran IPA dalam aspek komunikasi verbal dan hubungan saling mendengar. Pergeseran tersebut menunjukkan adanya perubahan keseimbangan komunikasi verbal dan hubungan saling mendengar antara guru dan siswa dalam dialog pembelajaran sesi diskusi klasikal dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan refleksi dalam mengembangakan profesionalitas guru untuk membentuk pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. This research aims at describing the profile of learning dialogue pattern and its shift within the context of science learning using TBLA (Transcript Based Lesson Analysis). The focuses of this study are targeted at figuring out the profile of verbal communication pattern and listening relationship pattern in science learning process. This study is accomplished in three cycles of lesson study in the subject of science in junior high school level within the topics of vibration and waves. The research instruments are video recorders, audio recorders and research field notes. The data collected in this study are in the learning transcript, learning artifacts, and clinical interview results. The main analysis is completed based on the learning transcript and the additional analysis is carried out based on learning artifacts and clinical interview results to support the main analysis. Finding of this study shows that in verbal communication pattern on the whole classical discussion sessions, there is a tendency in the emerging patterns in cycle 1 up to cycle 3. Those patterns put in order are semi-equal dialogic pattern, teacher equal dialogic pattern and teacher equal dialogic pattern. In the listening relationship pattern during in cycle 1-3 lesson study at the whole classical discussion sessions, it tends to form the patterns of semi-equal listening relationship pattern, equal listening relationship pattern and equal listening relationship pattern. In general, the analysis results reveal that there is a shift in science learning dialogue pattern within the aspect of verbal communication and that listening relationships are formed in learning cycle 1 up to cycle 3. The shift signifies a change in the balance of verbal communication and listening relationship between teacher and students in learning dialogue. The findings of this study are used as a reference for reflection to develop teacher professionalism to create a more effective instruction
