Abstract
Permasalahan Setiap negara di seluruh dunia ingin menjadikan warga negaranya memiliki karakter yang kuat demi keberlangsungan negaranya. Maka dari itu muncullah istilah character building atau pembangunan karakter sebagai salah satu misi dari peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Akan tetapi, seiring dengan perkembang zaman dan dampak globalisasi, karakter dan nilai adiluhung bangsa Indonesia semakin memudar. Munculnya media seperti televisi dan internet menjadi salah satu agen yang memperkenalkan budaya baru menyebabkan terkikisnya budaya lokal yang sarat akan nilai kebajikan. Para siswa lebih tertarik dengan budaya baru yang ditawarkan agen budaya luar sekolah terutama media televisi dibandingkan dengan budaya Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1.Terdapat dua strategi dalam implementasikan kurikulum muatan lokal Budaya Melayu Riau, yaitu sparated curriulum dan intregrated curriculum. 2. Rancangan Implementasi pembelajaran Muatan Lokal Budaya Melayu Riau sudah menginternalisasikan karakter religius, kemandirian, gotong royong, kerja keras dan kreatif pada siswa di sekolah dasar Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir 3. implementasi muatan lokal Budaya Melayu Riau dalam menumbuhkan karakter siswa, sudah menunjukkan ada proses internalisasi karakter religius, kemandirian, gotong royong, dan kerja keras 4.Evaluasi implementasi kurikulum muatan lokal Budaya Melayu Riau menggunakan penilaian sikap dan unjuk kerja berbasis portofolio 5. Hambatan yang dihadapi berupa sumber belajar yang terbatas dan kualitas guru kurang kompeten dibidang budaya Melayu Riau sedangkan daya dukung yang didapatkan adalah adanya lembaga adat Melayu Riau di dalamnya ada sanggar seni yang mengenalkan, mengajarkan dan melestarikan Budaya Melayu Riau.---- Problems every country around the world wants to make its citizens have a strong character for the sake of their country. Therefore emerged the term character building or character building as one of the mission of improving the quality of human resources. The Indonesian nation is a country that highly values the religious values and cultural values of the ancestors passed down from generation to generation from generation to generation. However, along with the development of the age and impact of globalization, the character and value of the noble nation of Indonesia is increasingly faded. The emergence of new media such as television and the internet became one of the agents that introduced a new culture led to the erosion of local culture that is full of virtue value. The students are more interested in the new culture offered by cultural agents outside the school, especially the television media compared with the culture therefore This research used qualitiatve reasearh with case study approach. Techniques of collecting data used interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of this study are 1.Terapat two strategies in Riau Malay cultural iplementasi, 2. Design Implementation of learning Local Content Culture Malay Riau has internalized the character on the students 3. implementation of local content Riau Culture Malay in growing the character of students, 4.Evaluasi implementation of local content curriculum Riau Malay Culture uses attitude assessment and portfolio based performance 5. Barriers faced in the form of learning resources and teacher quality.
