Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan menulis karangan narasi yang kurang pada kelas IV salah satu SD Negeri Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung. Hal ini ditandai dengan siswa masih kesulitan dalam menentukan ide pokok dan mengembangkan kalimat menjadi karangan yang padu dan runtut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi dengan penggunaan media film. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) mengadaptasi dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek dari penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVA yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Hasil dari siklus I menunjukkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa mencapai 52% dengan rata-rata hasil belajar mencapai nilai 51,54. Capaian tersebut meningkat pada siklus II kemampuan menulis karangan narasi sebesar 75% dengan rata-rata nilai 74,67. Pada saat pelaksanaan siklus III pencapaian kemampuan menulis karangan narasi meningkat menjadi 85% dengan rata-rata nilai 85,46. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media film pada kelas IVA terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi. Oleh karena itu diharapkan media pembelajaran film ini dapat dijadikan suatu alternatif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi.---- The research was distributed by a narrative essay writing skills low on class IV one of the Elementary School At Sukasari Bandung. It is characterized by a lack of mastery students still difficulty in determining the main idea as well as the difficulty in developing a sentence into a bouquet of matching and coherently. The purpose of this research is to improve implementation, narrative essay writing skills with the use of the movies media. The method of this research is the research action class (PTK) adapting of Kemmis and MC. Taggart. The research was conducted in three cycles. The subject of research is the grade of students 24 IVA. The results of the cycle I pointed out the narrative essay writing skills of students achieve 52% with an average value of 51.54 reach learning outcomes. The product improved on the cycle II narrative essay writing ability of 75% with an average value of 74.67. At the time of the execution of the cycle III the achievement of improved narrative essay writing ability of 85% with an average value of 85.46. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of the movies media in class IVA proved can improve writing skills essay Narrative. Therefor the expected media learning this movies can be used as an alternate in implement learning activities in the classroom to enhance narrative essay writing skills.
