Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan proses sains yang muncul melalui pembelajaran berbasis praktikum. Praktikum yang dilakukan adalah praktikum uji zat makanan dan praktikum membandingkan nilai energi makanan. Untuk mengidentifikasi keterampilan proses sains dilakukan observasi melalui lembar observasi dengan bantuan observer dan penilaian melalui rubrik penilaian LKS praktikum untuk menjaring keterampilan proses sains yang tidak teramati pada saat praktikum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan disalah satu SMA Negeri di Lembang dan sampel dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi dan rubrik penilaian LKS praktikum menunjukan bahwa belajar dengan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum dapat memunculkan keterampilan proses sains anatara lain keterampilan mengobservasi, interpretasi, klasifikasi, komunikasi, prediksi, membuat hipotesis, mengajukan pertanyaan, menggunakan alat dan bahan, dan merencanakan percobaan. Kemampuan keterampilan proses sains yang diperoleh tergolong dalam tiga kategori yaitu cukup, baik, sangat baik.;--- The purpose of this reasearch to identify science process skills which is appeared through practicum-based learning. That practicum are food fest and about comparing the energy value of food. To identify science process skills, observation is done using sheet observation by observer and assesment using assesment rubric of practicum worksheet to identify science process skill which was not observed while practicum was taking palce. Descriptive method used in this reasearch which takes place in one of senior high school in Lembang. Samples are choosen randomly. Results show that practicum-based learning can initiate science process skills such as the skill in observing, interpretating, classifying, communicating, predicting, hypothesis making, question-asking, using material and equipment, and experiment palnning. Science procces skills of student is classified into three categories. they are enough, good , and very good.
