Abstract

SMKN1 Cibadak,Sukabumi merupakan sekolah yang memiliki jurusan dengan kompetensi keahlian TPHP (Teknologi Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian) dalam hal ini siswa dituntut agar memiliki lulusan yang berkompeten yang siap berkerja dibidang industri dan memiliki jiwa wirausaha. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model Modified Production Based Training menggunakan modul pembelajaran dirancang agar tujuan dari lulusan SMK Kompetensi keahlian Teknologi Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian (TPHP) dapat memiliki kualitas yang baik dibidang industri maupun bidang wirausaha serta dapat belajar lebih mandiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Modified Production Based Training berbantuan modul pembelajaran pada kompetensi dasar produksi olahan ikan siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam 3 siklus. Peningkatan pemahaman siswa dilihat melalui hasil belajar diukur menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, pre-test dan post-test (tes pilihan berganda), modul pembelajaran, lembar penilaian sikap (observer, self assessment, dan peer assessment) dan lembar keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Modified Production Based Training berbantuan modul pembelajaran terlaksana dengan sangat baik dan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dilihat dari hasil belajar. Dapat ditunjukkan pada hasil sebagai berikut: (1) keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran dengan capaian 100% dilaksanakan pada siklus I,II, dan III, (2) peningkatan pada hasil Pre-test dan Post-test dengan nilai N-gain 0,93 termasuk pada kategori tinggi, (3) berbantuan modul pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dilihat dari hasil pembelajaran siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran menjadi lebih mandiri dalam melaksanakan diskusi, praktikum dan pembuatan laporan hasil praktikum, (4) pada aspek sikap dengan indikator spiritual, jujur, disiplin, tanggung jawab, percaya diri dan sopan santun siswa pada umumnya melakukan setiap indikator dengan baik, (5) pada aspek keterampilan siswa pada umumya mendapatkan nilai optimum pada tiap indikator keterampilan.;---SMKN 1 Cibadak, Sukabumi is a school which has majors of TPHP (Agricultural Product Processing Technology) skill competence. In this case, students are required to become competent graduates who are ready to work in industry fields as well as own entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore, implementation of Modified Production Based Training model using learning module is designed so that Vocational Secondary School graduates with skill competence of Agricultural Product Processing Technology (TPHP) can have a good quality to work either in the industry or entrepreneurship fields as well as learn more independently. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of learning process and improve students’ comprehension seen from their learning outcomes through the use of Modified Production Based Training model aided with learning module of basic competence of fish processing product by class XI students. This study was conducted by using Classroom Action Research Method (PTK) in three cycles. The increase of students’ comprehension can be seen from their learning outcomes measured through observation sheet of learning implementation, pre-test and post-test (multiple choice test), learning modules, attitude assessment sheet (observer, self-assessment, and peer assessment) and skill sheet. The result of this study evidences the implementation of Modified Production Based Training model aided with learning module can be carried out very well and indicate the improvement of students’ comprehension seen from their learning outcomes. The result can be elaborated as follows: (1) implementation of learning model reaches 100%, conducted in I,II,and III cycles, (2) improvement of Pre-test and Post-test results N-gain 0.93, included into high category, (3) aid of learning modules can improve students’ comprehension seen from their learning outcomes that make learning become more independently in case of discussion, practical work and compilation of practical work reports, (4) on attitude aspects with its indicator of spirituality, honesty, discipline, responsibility, self-confidence and courtesy where students generally did every indicator well, (5) on skill aspect, students generally got optimal score for each of skill indicators.
