Abstract
Tesis ini berjudul "Struktur Cerita dan Realita Sosial Pengarang dalam Kumpulan Cerpen Carita lain Caritakeuneun karya Toni Lesmana dan Pemanfaatannya Sebagai Bahan Ajar Apresiasi Cerpen di SMK (Analisis Struktur dan Sosiologi Sastra)". Penelitian bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan struktur intrinsik cerita dengan aspek sosial pengarang dan hasil penelitian dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar apresiasi cerpen di SMK. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, metode deskriptif, serta teknik yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dan teknik wawancara untuk menemukan aspek sosial pengarang dalam karyanya. Analisis struktur meliputi tema, fakta cerita dan sarana sastra yang digunakan pengarang. Studi sosiologi pengarang menggunakan teknik wawancara, yang bertujuan untuk menggali informasi berkaitan dengan status sosial pengarang, ideologi sosial pengarang, latar belakang sosial dan budaya pengarang, posisi sosial pengarang di masyarakat, komunitas pembaca yang menjadi tujuan karya pengarang, profesi pengarang, dan profesionalisme pengarang dalam berkarya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai struktur intrinsik cerita, serta pengaruh realita sosial pangarang terhadap karyanya bisa disimpulkan bahwa; 1) cerpen sebagai karya sastra dalam bentuk prosa dibangun oleh unsur-unsur struktur (tema, fakta cerita, dan sarana sastra), serta tiap unsur struktur mempunyai hubungan yang erat sarta memberikan pengaruh satu sama lain; 2) dalam beberapa cerpen tema cerita berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi pengarang, aktivitas dalam kepengarangan merupakan profesi utama bagi pengarang, karyanya merupakan sarana kritik sosial sebagai bentuk respon terhadap keadaan lingkungan masarakat, aktivitas dalam bidang sosial memberikan pengaruh terhadap téma cerita yang ditulisnya, dan totalitas dalam proses menulis karya merupakan bentuk profesionalisme pengarang dalam menulis karya. Penelitian ini bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pengajaran apresiasi cerpen di SMK.------------ This thesis is entitled "Structural Elements of Short Story and Socials Reality of The Author From Toni Lesmana’s Short Story Collections Carita Lain Caritakeuneun As a Literary Appreciation of The Teaching Materials at Vocational School (The Study Of Structure And Sociology Of Literature)”. This research has purpose to find correlation among structural elements of short story with social aspect of author, and the results of this study utilized as teaching material of short story appreciation at vocational school. The methods used in this study are qualitative, descriptive methods using library or documentation study techniques and also interview techniques to find the social aspects of the author. The Structural analysis are includes theme, fact of story, and literary devices. Furthermore, study of sociology of the author using interview techniques that aims to dig information about social status of the author, social ideology from the author, social and cultural background of the authors, social status in his society, the reader community which became the purpose of the author, professionalism of the author. Based on the results of the structural element research of the story, and the influence of social reality of the author can be concluded that; 1) short story constructed by elements of structure (theme, fact of story, and literary devices), and each element of the structure have a close relationship and influence each other; 2) in some short story themes based on the author's own experience, the activity in authorship is the main source of livelihood profession for the author, his work is a means of social criticism as a form of response to the environment circumstances of society, his activity in the social field had an effect on the short story that he wrote, and, totality in his work is a form of professionalism as writers. The results of this study can be used as literature teaching material at vocational school.
