Abstract
Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SD Negeri di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Bandung pada kelas V ini, dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan kerja sama siswa yang dinilai rendah. Hal ini ditandai dengan temuan berupa kurangnya kemampuan siswa untuk menerima perbedaan temannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan mengadaptasi model penelitian dari Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 30 orang terdiri dari 15 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Hasil siklus I menunjukkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa mencapai 78%. Capaian tersebut meningkat pada siklus II yaitu sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada kelas V terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama pada diri siswa. Oleh karena itu diharapkan model pembelajaran ini dapat dijadikan sebagai suatu alternatif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa.----------- Research conducted in one of the State Elementary School Sukajadi District Bandung in class V, motivated by the ability of student cooperation which considered low. This is marked by the findings of the lack of ability of students to accept the difference of friends. The purpose of this research is to improve students' cooperative ability by applying cooperative learning model of NHT type (Numbered Head Together). The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) by adapting the research model from Kemmis and Mc.Taggart. This research was conducted 2 cycles. The subjects of this research are the students of class V which amounted to 30 people consisting of 15 male students and 15 female students. The result of cycle I showed the ability of student cooperation reaches 78%. The achievement increased in cycle II that was equal to 90%. Based on the results of this research it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type NHT in class V proved to improve the ability of cooperation in students. Therefore it is expected that this learning model can be used as an alternative in learning activities to enhance students' cooperative skills.
