Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV-B salah satu SD di Kota Bandung melalui model NHT. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-B salah satu SD di Kota Bandung dengan jumlah 39 siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model NHT dan keaktifan siswa, sedangkan tes digunakan untuk mengetahi hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis data kuantitatif digunakan untuk menghitung ketercapaian keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa, analisis data kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV-B salah satu SD di Kota bandung meningkat setelah diterapkannya model NHT. Hal ini terbukti pada peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPA siswa, nilai rata-rata keaktifan siswa siklus I sebesar 67,21 % dan nilai rata-rata siklus II sebesar 80,00% sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,79% dari sebelumnya, hasil belajar IPA nilai rata-rata siklus I sebesar 67,2 dan nilai rata-rata siklus II sebesar 90,05 sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 22,85 dari sebelumnya. Serta ada peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa yang terjadi selama penelitian ini yang pada silus I sebesar 77% dan pada siklus II berubah menjadi 95%, sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 18%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpilkan bahwa penerapan model NHT dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa.;---This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes in science subjects of grade IV-B one elementary school in Bandung through the NHT model. This study was conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study are students of grade IV-B one elementary school in Bandung with the number of 39 students. The research design used is Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Data collection techniques used are observation and test. Observation is used to determine the implementation of NHT model and student activeness, whereas the test is used to know the result of student learning. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data analysis is used to calculate the achievement and learning achievement of students, qualitative data analysis is used to analyze the observation result. The results showed that the activity and learning outcomes of students of grade IV-B one of the primary schools in Bandung city increased after the application of NHT model. This is proven on the increase of students 'learning activity and learning outcomes, the average score of students' activity cycle is 67.21% and the average value of cycle II is 80.00% so that it has an increase of 12.79% from before, the learning result IPA average value of cycle I is 67,2 and mean value of cycle II is 90,05 so that it has increase equal to 22,85 from before. And there is an increase in student learning completeness that occurred during this study which in silus I of 77% and in the second cycle turned into 95%, resulting in an increase of 18%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the NHT model can improve the activity and learning outcomes of students.
