    Abstract

    Motif berprestasi adalah dorongan dari dalam diri yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas untuk mencapai suatu standar keberhasilan. Kebahagiaan adalah salah satu hal yang dapat menumbuhkan motif berprestasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan dan kontribusi kebahagiaan terhadap motif berprestasi peserta didik kelas VII MTs Negeri Pangandaran, karena sebagian banyak individu khususnya peserta didik memposisikan kebahagiaan sebagai factor penyebab motif berprestasi yang dimilikinya dan sebagian lainnya memiliki motif berprestasi dalam keadaan tertekan atau tidak bahagia, sehingga perlu dikaji lebih dalam kontribusi kebahagiaan peserta didik terhadap motif berprestasinya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, desain korelasional dengan analisis korelasi product moment pearson dan analisis koefisien determinasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) tingkat kecenderungan kebahagiaan peserta didik kelas VII MTs Negeri Pangandaran berada pada kategori tidak bahagia, (2) tingkat kecenderungan motif berprestasi peserta didik kelas VII MTs Negeri Pangandaran berada pada kategori rendah, (3) hubungan antara variable kecenderungan kebahagiaan dengan kecenderungan motif berprestasi searah dan tinggi sekali, (4) kecenderungan kebahagiaan memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap kecenderungan motif berprestasi. ;---Achievement motive is an inner self-induced drive to achieve a standard of success. Happiness is one of the things that can cultivate the achievement motives of students. This research aims to find out how much relationship and contribution of happiness to the achievement motives of students class VII at MTs Negeri Pangandaran, because most individuals, especially learners positioned happiness as a factor causing the achievement motive they have and some others have achievement motives in a state of distress or unhappiness, so it needs to be studied more deeply about contribution of happiness to their achievement motive. The research was conducted using quantitative approach and correlational design with product moment pearson correlation analysis and coefficient of determination analysis. The result of the research shows: (1) the happiness level of the students of class VII MTs Negeri Pangandaran was at unhappy category, (2) the level of the achievement motive tendency of the students of class VII MTs Negeri Pangandaran was at low category, (3) the correlation between the variable Happiness tendency with achievement motives tendency was not directional and very high, (4) and Happiness tendency has given greatly contribution to achievement motives of students.
