Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari sangat tingginya ketergantungan siswa terhadap arahan yang diberikan oleh guru, karena guru mendominasi dalam pembelajaran, serta rendahnya kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor. Peneliti menggunakan pembelajaran permaian tradisional bentengan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sejauh mana aktivitas permainan tradisional bentengan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor. Manfaaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat dan kontribusi yang berarti bagi semua pihak terutama kepada mereka yang berkecimbungan dalam dunian pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Objek penelitian yaitu Siswa SDN Gegerkalong Girang 1-2 yang berjumlah 30 siswa yang terdiri 13 orang perempuan dan 17 orang laki-laki. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pengamatan GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument). Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh kesimpulan bah dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional bentengan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor siswa. Dalam penelitian ini di peroleh rata-rata setiap tindakan pada siklus 1 tindakan 1 mencapai 18%, pada siklus 1 tindakan 2 mencapai 48%, pada siklus 2 tindakan 1 mencapai 67%, pada siklus 2 tindakan 2 mencapai 98%. Selanjutnya penelitian dihentikan karena sudah dirasa cukup. Hasil ini menunjukan peningkatan setiap tindakannya dan menunjukan bahwa melalui aktivitas permainan tradisional bentengan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor siswa. ;--- This research started from the dependence is very high of students’ for instruction by teacher, because the teacher has a dominate position in learning, along with less of locomotor skills. The writer used learning traditional game of bentengan. The purpose of this study is to know that learning traditional game can improve locomotor skills. The benefits of this study expected to give meaningful of contribution for all of aspects especially who has role in education. The research method used Classroom Action Research as follows a planning, implementation and reflection. Object of the research is SDN Gegerkalong Girang 1-2 which numbered of 30 students’ as follows of 13 female and 17 male. The Instrument is use observation students’ GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument). The results of data that was analyzed that used traditional game of bentengan can improve students’ locomotor skills. Based on the data is gain the average in each action on cycle 1 action 1 reached 18%, on cycle 1 action 2 reached 48%, on cycle 2 actions 1 reached 67%, on cycle 2 actions 2 reached 98%. Next, the research stopped because already enough. This result show of increase in each action and to prove that learning traditional game of bentengan can improve students’ locomotor skills.
